I have been listening to this music for over 50 years, he is our next Kleiber or Abbado, you name it.

1st mvt is rarely played so great as on rhis record - the soaring orchestra, the gentle woodwinds made to imitate the chirping of birds, transparent and presice brass. 3d mvt and 4th mvt brilliant ❤️

This is superb playing of the highest order. The musicians look as though they are enjoying every sound they make.

what is touching is that Misha Shekhtman gives time for a space for musicians in a very special way, so that the communication here is quite outstanding all the way through.

As a violinist, I can fully appreciate the talent of Misha Shekhtman. He is extremely precise with his gesture, brings out endless layers and colours whilst keeping the pulse😍

This Allegretto is one of the most brilliant and beautiful interpretations l've ever heard, keeping Beethoven tempi.

What boggles my mind is that Rossini heard all of this in his head and then wrote it down on paper for each and every instrument. The sheer genius of that is overwhelming.
