The Matrix: Path of Neo - The Witch IL speedrun (44.066)
We do a little sequence breaking.
Individual Level speedrun - The Witch - Disciple difficulty - PC EU - in 44s 066ms
A significant improvement over ua-cam.com/video/ue7gfl4sDCM/v-deo.html
0:16 abusing the vacuum effect of "Killing Blow Level 3" to move the enemy to the closest wall, and 1-hit-killing with the busted "Focus Aerial Throw Level 3". The Focus in FATL3 should be activated at the last moment (frame 51938) for even higher damage. There are so many possible outcomes from doing this, here's some:
- crash with a "buffer overrun" error i.imgur.com/SgxzFiG.png
- crash without an error
- corrupted cutscene + corrupted boss fight sequence. Boss survives and immediately attacks you with the staff while still teleporting away when approached
- corrupted cutscene + soft-lock because after the boss dies your ally clips under the floor and despawns/dies without unlocking the door
- the optimal outcome shown in this video where your ally survives and unlocks the door. Using the corner of the map and being predictable with the Focus timing makes the setup more consistent
0:40 the only way to damage your ally here is by throwing a weapon at her, and doing so has a random chance of interrupting the dialogue!
Mini Padder was used for the gamepad overlay, and Special K for the live frame counter.

Just a useful Urban Reign trick I haven't seen anywhere else. DEEZ NUTS This strat only works in the EU version of the game, and Glen (ally available starting from mission 34) can do it. Opponents using the blue Concentration SPA buff will still break it. Players can also break it.

What is your yojimbo's magic def? Jumbo flan was wrecking my yojimbo in like 3 turns, so I couldn't just walk away. My mag def is like 161. I'm guessing you have 255 or something?
it's 255 in the video but something like 190 M.DEF (140ish for Yuna) would be good enough, you just have to leave and re-enter the battle more often. Also, spending actual gil (200) would also improve the "quality" of your attacks so you'll need to tank less if that makes sense

You could also fight Neslug 1. Spam multi-hit overdrives to damage him 2. After he loses 2,000,001 HP, he will retreat into his shell. He can not be damaged nor killed (unless Yojimbo uses Zanmato) and he can’t attack you either 3. If you’re on PC just use the boosters shown in this video, if you’re on console spam pay him 2k gil to ensure he uses Wakizashi to increase your relationship with him

I grew up with this. I would be so happy if it would be possible to open the OG game again. Without the pay 2 win but still with the capsules and stuff. That would be so amazing. Nowadays the game would blow up even more i think. I miss it and i‘m glad i could be part of this beautiful game with such big potential.
