In this video, I install the PowerMadd Trail Star Handguard Mirror Kit on my Yamaha wr250r. Most dual sport motorcycles come with some not so aesthetically pleasing stock mirrors. I think this option is a good alternative to the OEM mirrors.

Yamaha WR250R Balance Point Wheelie Fail!!

In this video, I go out for a ride to practice wheelies. Did not go so well and ended up looping my wr250r. With all the protection upgrades that I have installed, luckily I only came out with a bent shift lever and bent my handlebars slightly. Well, I accidentally cleared the codes by putting the clip in first and then turning the key on. You haft to do it in the reverse order of that.
Thanks for the timestamps in the description
142kmh a minha
Thanks bro very helpful got scared when I saw the vid but now I feel much better
Useful! Thanks
Thanks. I got the same C46 but to see it i had to start engine. How did you fix your C46?
Have u changed theses tires yet? How wany miles u have in them now? Someone said they last 9 to ten thousand. What's your experience?
just to be safe i’d change them around 7-8k but they’re touring tires so they tend to last longer
terrific video very well presented ty 2018 wr250r 3,372 miles as of 6/29/2024
Amazing! Many thans
Best video ever 👌
I'm getting a check engine light but no code. I'm not getting a clicking sound when I check d50 although I am getting the light on the dash. Can anyone out there tell me where exactly the relay is that is supposed to click for d50. The video says it's in a cluster of wires near the battery but with it not working I can't figure out where it is exactly
I have a 2009 and I got mine to top out at 105mph I used to cruise around with street bikes on mine and had no problem keeping up
Cool, Thanks so much When i go in elevation off road, my check engine light will come on , then disappear Doing the Diagnostic you mention at 61 I get a code 19,30,42 at 62 I get a code 3 Any idea what these are? Thanks
Poor protection.
What were your settings for the programmer
Does the waist allow for a belt to be worn or does it have elasticity closures ?
This model has 2 adjustable velcro loop straps, one on each side.
I just purchased a nice used WR250R. It has the stock tires. I am thinking of doing the D606 rear, but the closest size is about 1/2 inch taller than stock. I heard that the taller tires will have less torque at the lower speeds. What rear tire are you running? Have you noticed this? I ask because the bike has a tendency to stall out if I don't give it much acceleration when I take off. Also, did you initially have the stock 43 tooth sprocket and did you notice more low end torque when going slower? Thanks for any info you can share.
Awesome. Thx
UP stands for up 😂 ☝️👆⬆️🔝
It's been 4 years have you learned how to willie What tip can you give and how many times have you looped
Whats code 70
How do you move the bar next to the C28 code to the middle?
How did you calibrate your prosync tool? It says to calibrate it using the main non-adjustable carb, but this bike has 4 adjustable lines....
Hey that's cool to know.
I don’t understand why you had change the first part electronic, Can you explain me ? (I’m not the best in English, I speak French normally 😅)
you didn't have an FI trigger, when yo get an FI trigger it flashes between FI and CHEC, that means its telling you to check for the code, if its just FI check connectors so forth, its prolly something intermittent or going bad
Saludos de España
Hi, thanks for this informative video. Are you working from memory or do you have it written down somewhere? Can you share the source for all this info? It'd be much easier to just follow a list instead of playing and pausing a video while working on my bike.
Como solucionar el C-22
Your 600 doesn’t have the power to redline in 6th gear, no 600’s do with stock gearing. 600’s do top speed runs in 5th gear with stock gearing. 155 is all for a Gsxr600. Many 600’s don’t even reach that. 750’s do only 10mph more at 165 topped out.
Grease the linkage and steering. Definitely the linkage.
Even several years later, these videos are still relevant. Very well done !
Awesome thanks for the video. I was worried the rad fan wasn't working but it was fine 👌. The bike was totaled and some electrical was shattered. I haven't heard the fan come on for a while and I was getting worried so thanks for helping me get back on the road.
What's the visibility like?
Hi I have a problem in my Gsr600 fuel pump not showing any current? So what do I have to do? It's very hard to find a good mechanic in Pakistan. So if you have any kinda communication to contact you live let me know?
❤thank you .. More updates ??
Seriously you have the plug out and your not going to change it? You must like tearing your bike down every time
34:12 😆
Spray hoses with AT204 to make your rubber hoses last longer...much longer
The air filter is done..Probably at 70%...may as well change it out bro.
Can they be worn without the liner?
Thank You My Lord!!!
Very good video! Thank you
Super helpful - thanks for taking the time!
Have the same bike and code C00 (have a aftermarket exhaust) but you can remove that FI light by installing a Woodcraft Servo Buddy. If the red light comes again it's because there's another sensor issue which then you would obtain the code again. Suzuki sells a device/switch that you can directly place over that plug then turn on and you'll get the code without having to use that small wire.
I was riding yesterday, and randomly saw my HUD shoot up a constant red light, and right next to it said "d5" i kept driving and after 2 minutes i started loosing power and it turned off itself, I tried to turn it back on, but the battery was completely dead.. I even tried to jump start the battery and the bike ran for a little bit, then the battery died out again, completely. do you have any idea what could it be?? thank you.
Did you ever figure out what the issue was I'm having similar issues except my bike isn't dieing on me while I'm riding at all but when I go to start it I have to jump it off and error code 5d or Sd pops up
Great video, well done!
I just checked the valve clearance in my wr250r , and had to take off almost everything on bike to even do the job lmfao , its no easy task thats for sure . Can barely fit a finger in anywhere, no joke ,tight for space and a pain to work on due to all the stuff yea gotta take off to access the things that need attention But i love this bike they are indestructible .
What a champ
You didn't say what size rear sprocket you use
