I have purchased some boxes of ginseng from china which is being held by customs FDA, the seller doesn't want to refund me unless I have the shipment sent back to him.... How can I go about having this package send back to the seller??

Please I need help I sent a package(Camera) via FedEx in Nigeria to California since November 2021. The camera is worth $6,000. It got to US and the receiver was contacted to clear customs so as to receive it but the receiver said the package should be returned to me being the shipper. Up till now, I am yet to get the package return to me in Nigeria. A shipping label has been created for the package but the shipment is yet to be returned. I don’t even know the location of the shipment. I have contacted FedEx in US and they said the package is not with them, I was told it is with the US custom. Why would custom hold my package since camera isn’t illegal in US? Also, I wasn’t even contacted or informed by the US custom Please I really need help on how to go about this

My package was seized and no one contacted me in the first 5 days I had to contact DHL to see where my package was then found out It’s been weeks

So what's next; seize my debit card for having too much of an available balance !?!

Idiot us laws, This wont happen if they know if they lose they keep 0$ I'm safer in Europe if u have proof u get everything back if not u lose everything. Mygod those cops and us customs those who made those laws really need take classes in Europe about human rights :s companies in the us have more rights for profit than humans. Hello Jennifer, I have some containers hold by US customs in LA; meanwhile, title of goods still belongs to us coz we didn't release cargo to importer yet. . We - the exporter didn't get any notice from importer or anyone elso, only from the carrier who said our goods are in inspection process relating to counterfeiting. Now we want our cargo back. Can you give some advice?

Depending on the item seized (and the value and law violated), if you do nothing, you may also receive a penalty by CBP. I did oder a package it was also seized , won't they contact you or come to your house to ask why you haven't contacted them back , I decided not to because my sender also sent me another one, which I have received.
