This is the best no BS type of video. 30 seconds answers the question. I couldn't find this information online for no charging of the battery anywhere else. If you blow this 25 amp fuse your battery will not charge. Keep a spare! Saved me a trip to the dealer.

I don't know how old this thread or video is, but you just fixed the problem I've been having for a couple of years! Got stranded, at the pier, a couple different times. New battery, same issue. Never knew about this fuse, and this made it very easy and only cost me the price of a fuse. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This video save the day!

Lots of places loading a boat like that on a trailer is prohibited because of the washout it causes at the ramp. Use the winch, that's what it's for.

I don't see many boat launches that allow power loading and power loading requires skills many boaters don't have. How about a video showing how to load by walking the boat onto the trailer.

So, I found the fuse block on my 40 hp Mercury # cyl EFI in exactly the same place. Then, I promptly dropped the cap into the lake. Question is; Where can I find a replacement cap.

for a beginner I wouldn't ad vise using the motor thrust to mount they could throw it off the trailer and punch a hole in the hull.

My advice is don’t be in a hurry. Locking thru can take awhile. It took about an hour from start to finish.

That's a really nice rig! What are the dimensions of the tunnel (height X width)? I tried looking at your tape measure, but couldn't tell. That tunnel with a hydraulic jack plate would make for an ultra shallow running machine.

Yeah that in windy conditions and you will struggle since you don't have trailer guide poles. Believe me when I tell you cause I learned from firsthand experience.

I did blow mine by doing a shortcut when removing my battery. I was wondering why my engine was not charging my battery. I guess I found my answer today.

I bought a new Escape in 2017 with Honda 40hp. Added two 10” Humminbirds, power anchor in front, electric motor on transom with whitecap splash guards. Due to health I don’t get out much but they are well built, safe boats that allow you to fish both big water (Lake Superior) and small backwoods ponds. I went from a Skeeter 1770T.

Powering your boat on to your trailer is never recommended! You damage the launch for everyone else. You winch is there for a reason and launching/recovering is never a good idea solo. Otherwise fine

Its all good as long as the water is dead calm like the video. Try it with 20mph wind hitting from the side. And 30 other people waiting for you to get the hell out of the way. Fun Fun! Don't get me wrong, I love my 24 ft. Party Barge but, Damn sometimes its a royal pain to get back on the trailer.

You need to add the important step to raise your motor once on the trailer and before you exit the water. Lots of expensive motors are ruined because of this oversight.
