I have both 2024.. I like hobinichi cream color paper better as well as the layout I like the quotes, the vertical line and the darker font and the moon phases! S.I. a little too bland for me , but then I don't do a lot of ephemera so the hobi layout does feel like it gets in my way. all of that to say I had grand plans w both and by 2nd quarter defaulted to just keeping everything in my memory. 😅, but uuggghh . I will repurpose them for tracking health/fitness next year I ordered one hobi. weeks for my next year and instead of a full S. I. I am going to get " booklet" to use for one specific thing and see how it goes.

My 2024 techo bled. Was not happy. Thinking of moving to a 68 gsm planner , hoping hobo will fix the problem for 2026.

Thanks so much for the detailed walkthrough of the first planner 💞 I mocked up the layout for it in my current notebook to test it out this week. It's very similar to the ideal layout I've created in my bujo that I do when I have the energy. Right now I just use a blank notebook but I'm lazy and don't set up that weekly overview. I've never seen a planner with this layout before and it feels like it was made for me. I'm using the first row for events, the second row for day-specific todos. The left half of the left page is a braindump task list that can happen any day. The rest of the note space, I use for daily logs. I'm much more confident in buying it after hearing what you said about the paper still being pretty thin. Hobonichi Cousin (used it last year) is too big and I could never fill out the timetables because I'm not busy! I also tried doing a week of personal stuff in my work Hobonichi Weeks and it's a solid block of writing, there's not enough space. The Nolty seems perfect. I’ve always used one planner. For the first time in 2025 I will be using 2 planners and a notebook for planning. I also just started using Forever Notes to help me keep my digital life organized.

I am HERE for downsizing. But with a TN/Bujo hybrid system helps me use what I need when I need it versus 'I need another planner for...' My reference journals don't change though. One journal for book notes (personal development reading), 1 research and education journal, and 1 novel writing journal. That's it. If I can't fit it into my TN otherwise... it's a hard pass haha!

I use Goodnotes for taking notes in college but this is still helpful to me! I have only been using it for this last semester really and I really enjoy the more in depth explanations on the tools. My favorite tool is the highlighter or elements

Im not really sure i have a choise though, since everything is just always very tight but i'll try to not buy everything apart from necessary things. I know my medical costs will be higher next year, so i just need to save every penny i can. Im disabled aand unemployed and everything is just a bit shit. Money is stressful
