Camping at Desoto State Park, Fort Payne, Al.
In this video we are camping at Desoto State Park in Fort Payne Alabama. They have a lot of hiking trails and biking trails, but I wasn't able to get much video of those because of rain and my camera wasn't lined up well when I was biking. :( The pool was very nice, especially for a State Park. Or really for any public pool for that matter. Anyway, thanks for watching!

Camping at Stephen C Foster State Park/ Okefenokee Swamp
Переглядів 1,2 тис.6 років тому
In this video we stayed at Stephen C. Foster State Park in the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia. We went on a tour of the swamp and would definitely recommend the tour. It's a calm, low speed tour that goes back somewhat deep into the swamp. The park is so dark at night you can see more stars than you realize are up there! Along with the weird, green, dripping light. :) Thanks for watching and, as a...

Rush Big Louie slip-ons no baffles

2016 Street Glide with Rush Big Louie Slip-ons. I took the baffles out just to see what it would sound like and how loud it would be. I like the sound, but it's pretty loud and I got tired of it pretty quickly. I hope this helped out if you were shopping for exhaust. Thanks for watching!
Rush Big Louie Slip-ons 2016 Street Glide

This is my 2016 Street Glide Special that I just installed Rush Big Louie Slip Ons with the 2.5 inch baffle. The videos don't do them justice. They are deeper and a little louder than stock, but when you get on the throttle they come to life. You can still hear them riding down the road, but they're not obnoxious. Please comment with any suggestions you may have and thanks for watching! Music: ...

Cades Cove Rich Mountain Road drive
Переглядів 18 тис.10 років тому
We decided to video the route from Cades Cove to Townsend, Tn. on Rich Mtn. Road. It was a very easy gravel road that took around an hour to travel without being in a hurry. An older couple passed us in a Lincoln Town car and appeared to be in a hurry, so you can see it's not a difficult road to travel. Thanks for watching, I'm open to suggestions for making the videos better and if you liked i...

Would definitely not do this drive at night! It's a nice break from paved roads thank you for sharing! ...Let me go see why the vibe?!? 😂 I might not wanna go at all! 😂

    I have big Louie slip ons with a cobra header, boy does it sound great now. I have had v-Hines etc and these sound better in my opinion. The sound is perfect.

    My '16 RGU's previous owner installed a Rush header - ceramic coated in and out, no cat, and Rush Big Louie slip-ons with 2.5" baffles. Also Arlen Ness air cleaner and V&H FP-3 (no O2 sensors). The exhaust borders on too raspy so I'll need to repack the baffles. Sounds great, but I know the sound of blown out packing from my other bikes with similar baffles. I like my Guzzi LeMans LOUD but for my Glide a bit more subdued for travel will be welcome. I won't run either without baffles, the Guzzi (built) would break glass.

      @@traversingwindingpaths3288Well, I did pull the Rush baffles to check the packing and was very surprised to see it's all there. The Big Louie's with header and 2.5" baffle are just loud, similar to your no-baffle sound but more high end. I'll keep the header but will be on the lookout for something mellower for slip-ons.

    This rich mountain road does have way more gravel on it then is on the Parsons branch road. It was quite a bumpy ride this past Sundaywhen I drove on Parsons branch rd. There were ruts in the roadway from heavy rain runoff on the steeper inclines and declines on that road. . Glad I choose to ride on the Parsons branch road instead of taking rich mountain road, but my return trip to Kingsport TN would have been a much shorter drive if I had taken rich mountain road back over into Townsend.

    This helped my change out my own bulbs with LEDs, one side had burned out and the dealer wanted $18 to change one bulb. It is difficult to see what you're doing in the video once the liner is off. For anyone else attempting this, the tabs are on the side of the light tan bit connected to the gray part. I wasn't able to turn out the gray part by hand, but pliers helped immensely (should NOT have to use a lot of force though).

      Lol no problem. It doesn’t have to be plugged in all the time, but it’s easier to leave it that way. Not that it’s hard to get in and out, but that way you can do the auto tune now and then just to make sure everything is still good. Plus you can do diagnostics with it, too.

    Thanks for the video, this helped me access the bulb location. Had a big problem putting the plastic screws back in when re-attaching the liner. These aren't really screws, they're more like plastic tabs. A good half hour of finagling trying to get these tabs back into their holes, including a frustration break, before I got the screws back in. I wonder what the shop would have charged for this?

    • @traversingwindingpaths3288
      @traversingwindingpaths3288 6 років тому

      Yeah, those tabs are frustrating. After they are used they kind of get loose and don't hold very well anymore. I wonder, also, what they would charge. It takes a little while to change, but I'd hate to pay a fortune for just a bulb change. I'm glad I could help, though!

    So there is no need to adjust the fuel system if you just remove the baffles? I have a 2017 Road Glade with Big Louies and I took the baffles out and like the sound. Will engine be ok?

    • @traversingwindingpaths3288
      @traversingwindingpaths3288 6 років тому

      Hi, Russ, sorry for the late reply. I've been told that if you still have the catalytic converter you don't need to adjust anything, because it doesn't change the back pressure enough. I only had them out long enough to do the video and I put them back in. If I were going to leave them out, just to be safe, I would want to have a tuner or at least a reflash from someone that can do that.

    Years ago, I exited Cades Cove from the southwest, driving a Corolla on Parsons Branch Road all the way to US 129. I do not recall it being difficult at all. I will be there in August for the solar eclipse and was thinking a return to Townsend via Rich Mountain Road might be a nice diversion. We will likely have a large passenger van or suv. Would that present any difficulty? Are there pullouts to let other vehicles pass, or will there be a risk, as Mark Gelbart remarks, of traffic jams? Thanks.

    • @traversingwindingpaths3288
      @traversingwindingpaths3288 7 років тому

      There weren't any difficult sections that would cause you any problems, at least not when we were there. It's been 3 years since we were there, but it was pretty much gravel the whole way. Also back then there weren't very many areas to pull over, but it is supposed to be a one way road from what we were told. Traffic wasn't very heavy on it at all, we only saw a couple of other vehicles. It's a very nice drive, I hope you enjoy it!
