@Batonrougesundown it's obvious. If the black woman fought for the law to marry outside of her said race, how does every other nation of women justify procreating or marrying outside of their nation? Did they stand up and fight for their love? Or did they always deny it? Jack Johnson the Galveston Giant got into a lot of trouble over loving a white woman. Or that his mother is the HC? It's always the Football 🏈 HC because his mother is from South Korea and his father is said African American. 1954 Jet Magazine featured an African American GI with an Asian wife stating they make better wives. Jet Magazine was our magazine. Why must we keep featuring them when they speak so negatively about the hatred of black people.

@@Batonrougesundown Can I ask you a question? I notice you have Baton Rouge in your name. Are you from Louisiana? If so, just know that living in the south is a different experience. Even so, I raised my kids in the south a few state over, but they went to a school with a huge population and had a good mixture of many races and other biracial children. This was truly not one of their struggles. That being said, now I spend my time between California and the south because of what I told you earlier. In California, kids have to worry about having trans forced down their throats. (I’m not homophobic, but I don’t agree with a school official helping a child to make a life altering decision without their parent’s guidance and consent.)

@staciegirlie yes I’m from Baton Rouge and I know it’s different ,that’s why I can speak on it,white people are the same up state they jus have a different way of hiding it ,and as for your kids fighting the trans war ,I suggest home schooling @staciegirlie

@@BatonrougesundownThat is a great solution for kids. However, the whole ideology needs to change. My kids are done with school. It’s other people’s kids that don’t have the luxury of homeschooling I’m worried about. If they are truly trans, the parent should still be making all the decisions while they’re minors. If they aren’t, then people should never try to trick them into thinking they are.

So you're saying white dad = rich/middle class upbringing. Black dad = grow up in the hood. And before you try and say it's not actually about economics, where do millionaire athletes raise their black kids no matter what color the mom is? Moral of the story is that we need more good black dads.

We were exposed to many genres of music, but I gravitated towards rock music. My dad had an extensive record collection. While most of his albums were R&B such as Isley Brothers, Commodores, Gap Band, etc, but also he had Tammy Wynette, Crystal Gayle, Rod Stewart, KISS, etc. As for my mother-in-law, we didn’t talk about race that much. She would tell me about how she somewhat dated a black guy after her marriage ended to her son’s father. But, ultimately she ended up with a female partner. She would sometimes confide in me that she often wondered how her life would have turned out if she had explored that other relationship. I didn’t feel the need to seek validation on how she verbally felt about race. This is the one thing that people don’t understand about me (especially Christian people I associate with whom are always trying to get me to religiously attend church). With me, ACTIONS speak louder than words. Don’t verbally tell me what you think, feel or believe and your actions are a complete 180 from what you’ve saying.

@ However, people can lie. This is why I closely watch the actions of anyone I deal with including my own race. Believe it or not, the people who critically hurt me the most were people of my own race, members of my own family.

@ yes ,I own kind can hurt us ,but it’s only feelings they can hurt ,whites can hurt us both ways feeling an financially ,we can deal with I own kind better bc we know how they are coming an how they are out to get us ,but whites can get you the same way ,and then go and hide in there race

We are not conditioned to think that so stop making stuff up. Most of us do not find them attractive or appealing. Many of us know our history and know about their poor hygiene and passive aggressive behaviors towards us. So do not speak for us. You all can lay up with anyone you like. Keep us out of it.

@ She had her good years and bad years. The years when she was bullied was due to weight issues. Then she lost all the weight and became really popular in the ninth grade. One issue she had was when a racist teacher (a black woman) tried to flunk my daughter out of school in the fifth grade. Before that my daughter was getting citizenship awards and awards for being on the A/B honoring roll. This teacher even physically put her hands on her. I was so tempted to reach out and do the same thing to the teacher when I confronted her. The assistant principal tried to take up for the teacher by saying my daughter is ADHD and needed “special” classes. I complained and threatened the school with legal action if they didn’t move my child out her classroom. Once they moved her to another regular classroom with a new teacher, she mysteriously resumed making the good grades she previously made. Another instance is when she had a so-called best friend who was really dark-skinned. Somehow, this friend never showed her the loyalty she was given by my daughter. Long story, short. However, that other girl wasn’t really loyal to any of her other friends either.

@@BatonrougesundownI was married to the father for about 5 years before we even conceived her. His mom was complaining that she wasn’t going to get a grandbaby (lol). My ex was the perfect man/ gentleman. Then he joined the military and it was like the invasion of the body snatchers happened to him. He wasn’t the same anymore. I left because of his negligence with raising the kids (which happened about 10 years into our marriage.) I’m not that type of parent who is going to go down for idiot decisions made by the other parent so I left. Unfortunately, he was my soulmate and I havent been able to find another permanent relationship because of that.
