Amir MTB - weekly videos!
United States
Приєднався 7 сер 2016
Amir MTB is a collection of raw and edited footage from my mountain bike rides. I'm a decent rider but far from pro, so these trails and the riding should be approachable to a large audience. I don't hide my excitement of riding these amazing places! Share any questions, suggestions, or kind words in the comments.
I currently use the Insta360 Ace Pro cameras. If you like the videos, please subscribe to get notified of new ones, and also share with your friends - whether they ride or not. I try and post several videos a week (weather permitting).

Following Arieh. That crash on the rocks - looks simple but if the tumble was 2 feet to the right, that could've ended up in a heli-lift

These trails affected my confidence and had me questioning the decision to ride blind in these conditions. Need to go back when it's a bit tacky and run it top to bottom. But I understand the hype these trails are AMAZING! Following @TheFrancksyren

Very cool! Why'd you take the bypass ;)
That bypass was challenging enough for me 😅
Sorry for so many comments, but "why am i stopping all the time on nothing" is because you get fixated on the obstacle and have not visualized yourself clearing it with ease and control.
No problem, there's no such a thing as a bad comment! It does look easier from the couch, though ;)
look where you want to go not where you don't, loosen your elbows, don't make a sound, all the noises you make are unnecessary and show a lack of understanding and control. I'm guessing you are focused more on making a dramatic effect video then actually riding your bike
It's not the trails' fault you're not prepared. You need to stretch and strengthen and adjust your "camera" more for the conditions and terrain. I watched the video, you are a very stiff rider, loosen up and flow with the terrain and you will Have a better experience.
What’s up with that bell?
awesome video the color and contrast are so good! And the ride is not bad either 🙂
Ouch! Loving your videos man. Just subscribed!
Thanks @rmbtd!
Nice riding man. This trail looks amazing!
Thanks! It really is, and finding the right lines is very rewarding (the opposite is also true - the wrong line will stop me dead in my tracks)
Sick vid
Thanks Jay!
I had a high speed jackknife about 3 weeks ago and know the feeling! I wasn't as lucky as you though...I got a punctured lung, 7 broken ribs, broken scapula, clavicle and glenoid. ER and 2 nights in hospital. Got surgery on the collarbone last week. Gonna take a long time to recover I'm afraid. Pain level is insane. 😢
Oh wow, hope you get back to full riding soon! Yeah, sounds like you got the other end of the unlucky spectrum, I admit I was very lucky (although I'm still feeling my injuries in my arm and back, but no surgeries needed). Mainly due to the spot I landed in was very soft dirt, and also because the trail was pretty sketch I was keeping my speed down a bit. Hope you full recover and back on your bike!!
@@amir_mtb My Garmin data said I was going 21mph when I crashed. Still not 100% sure if it was front wheel washout or a jackknife. It happened so fast, like one sec I'm riding and the next I'm hitting the ground. It knocked the wind out of me and I had that weird wheezing breathing thing going on. Helmet cracked and I got a contusion on my temple, but somehow avoided a concussion thankfully! 🙏
Where did u ride at??
Frisco CO Aftermath trail
I was afraid for you during the video
Awwww Dor I'm moved!
What’s the name of the trail. Couldn’t hear it (make it out) at the beginning of the video. TIA
I feel that pain, my right shin recently got scaped by my pedal when landing a jump as well, and now I have bandaids all over my legs.... My knee/shin guards are on the way to me, no jumping until I put them on.
@Phantom1000 good call I also got some lightweight shin guards so I don't have to think about it anymore
Why didn't you wait until she finished counting?😅
She's only counting to leave room between riders. Racers can leave once the count is down to 5 seconds (or even wait a while after the count is done) and there's a timing pole a few feet ahead that captures the accurate time
I felt so slow around those berms! You smashed it
יכול להיות שגנבת ארבע שניות בהתחלה? בכל מקרה סחטיין
@dorlaor No. They used a proper timing system, where the reader is placed a few feet away from the starting position and reads the actual time that I pass by it. The person counting down is only making sure there's enough spacing - in theory I could ride immediately after the guy in front of me and the timing system would get it correctly.
Damn that was fast 😢 Lo nora
That sucks. You were flying too
Video looks great nice riding!
Thanks @Pussywagonriders!!
That is reason why i ride clips
@K1ngJame5-mtb I wish I could bring myself to ride clips! But I've only started riding them 1.5 years ago when I took up road riding for the first time. I don't feel safe with them on simple gravel routes, let alone bring myself to ride these trails clipped in.
@@amir_mtb riding clips has made me a better rider. You get use to unclipping on a moments notice when need
So, you can make it all the way to river road the bike path down deer creek? When you stopped, it looked like the end of the trail.
Yes, you can make it all the way to the road
No motor!? Lol
Haha yes I was surprised as well! But I took the ebike for some detox today at Aptos ;)
Looks like the trail at 7min is named after me 😂
❤
Nice riding trail looks great and long for a Tahoe trail
Good blind run! Glad you enjoyed that trail
Thanks @peet013, loved it! Next run I'll hit everything, it's all very well built
EMTB I think
Looks fun:) Good luck today!
Bro those trails look rad.
Thanks Leo!
I love your videos!!! You need to do some hiking / biking in Donner Summit and Truckee area.
Thanks Jason!
I second that! Donner trails shut down until 2025 tho
Why do ya'all keep changing the names of the trails?
I don't make the rules Richard - that's what the trail is called, and has been for years :)
niice bro keep going
Nice!
Disappointing to hear about the rattle. I have the SL 1 on order that was a great price, but I wish it had a Bosch.
Nice ride, the bike looks good as well
Looks great! Love the color enjoy!
The motor rattle completely turns me off from any shimano Ebike
closed until spring 2025

sweet riding uc getting blown out
Omg. Its time for a vacation!
Absolutely beautiful view! If you don't mind me asking, what trail is this?
He said Burnside so that’s in Pacifica. I love that olace
@@emteebee1872 Thank you
@@FlowerWoman I did Burnside once but it was pretty unrideable so we had to get off our bikes a few times. What we enjoyed that’s similar to Burnside but rideable is Twin Pines… or Two Pines. I’ve gone down that ride several times now and still can’t confirm the name of that trail. Pacifica is in my top 3 places to ride.
Did you get the Levo SL 2? How does the SL 1.2 motor feel compared to the older 1.1 ?
No I didn't (yet) this was just a loaner. I'm testing several bikes (and will upload video impressions). The 1.2 motor feels MUCH more powerful - I don't think I need more than 25% assist level except for the steepest of climbs like climbing back up from end of K2. But there's no magic formula - the battery did drain faster when I went to those levels.
@@amir_mtb Thanks for the reply. I’m in the market for another SL ebike and my top 3 are Kenevo SL2, Mondraker Dune XR and Heckler SL
@@K1ngJame5-mtb wow those are hard decisions! BTW I just pulled the trigger on an SL bike... Soon to be advertised on the channel ;) The Mondraker looks amazingly capable and I can't believe it's under 44lbs with coil suspension! But it's very new no in-depth reviews or info so you probably should wait a bit for some unbiased inputs. The Heckler SL and KSL2 are both amazing; Heckler SL more battery but I don't trust Fazua wrt range extender - I'll believe it when I see them actually come out with one. If we bump into each other at UC we should compare notes :)
Nothing worse than an unskilled rider on a dam electric bike !
There actually is something worse - an unskilled troll firing from his couch potato sofa!
Funny that after passing you immediately crash into a bush at 2:11 😂
That wasn't really a crash, considering... But the reason I had to stop is I got off my original line coming down, and couldn't correct at the end to stay in the middle groove
Nice job boss 🫡
nice ride!!🔥
Nice! One on the left is better 😉
Pretty sick lol what was his time
@jaynasty7 IDK his time (I compared to his video and don't follow him on Strava) but my PR there is 1:09, he's 11 seconds faster and probably has another second if we compare from the very top. So I'm guessing he's at 0:57 seconds. BUT this was only his 2nd time ever on that trail...
