Disappearing Paint in our Shop
I found some paint in a building I was cleaning out. I thought I would use it to paint a pegboard in my shop. the results were quite interesting to say the least.

Kitten Gets Friendly at Last
Переглядів 322 роки тому
This little girl came to use as a foster with eight other kittens. She had just been fixed and brought to us straight from the vet. Because she was hurting and in a new place, she was really skittish and would just run and hide if anyone came around. We could pick her up and hold her for a minute but she would be ready to jump and run at the first chance. Yesterday, I came home and she let me p...
NH3 Anhydrous Ammonia Nurse Tank Burst
Переглядів 735 тис.7 років тому
This is a video of an anhydrous ammonia tank being pressurized until it bursts. The approximate pressure on the tank at the time of failure was 1400 - 1500 psi. Normal operating pressure for Anhydrous ammonia is 30 - 150 psi. These tanks are tested every five years to a pressure of 375 psi. This was a tank that failed its 5 year inspection. We did this as part of a training program to see just ...
Vintage B17 Flying Fortress taxi video - The closest taxi shot you'll ever see!
Переглядів 14614 років тому
This is a great close up video of a B17 Flying Fortress taxiing past us at an air show. This is probably the best view of a vintage restored WWII bomber that you will ever see. I rode on this plane. It is called the Yankee Doll. If you ever have the chance to ride on one of these, do it! You won't regret it!
Stupid cat gets stuck in a shopping bag - Clio and the bag
Переглядів 1,1 тис.14 років тому
This is our youngest cat Clio who snoops a little too much and ends up getting her head stuck in the loop of a shopping bag. The other cat that appears late in the clip is Dewey, who we call Fatso.
Hey Karl, do you have an email address we can use to contact you regarding your NH3 Anhydrous Ammonia Nurse Tank Burst video? I'd love to discuss a license to use it if possible! Cheers, Felix
"promo sm" 🤘
🙄 Boring. Its not even ammonia.
If it was ammonia, you would have seen it on the news.
Hydrostatic test failure.
Hydro test, looks like they intentionally took it to failure just to see where it happened. 1:17
Looking at the way the water flowing out, the longitudinal welding seam in one of the “rings” has failed.
That's right.
Horrible this stuff i remembered wen putting the discharge hose away sometimes you got a little kick off it makes ur toes curly
It’s not supposed to be labeled as something it is not
Thanks for the sub keep up the good work
People can’t drive
I would do this too. He is not the stupid one
At the co-op, we work with augers all the time, and I have transported them across long distances and I would never pull one like this. Remember, this guy was going 65 mph. One bad bounce and that auger could bend in the middle. I have definitely seen that happen. And it might not bend so bad that it wont run, but it could cause the flighting to rub on one side of the tube and cause it to wear out prematurely. That may not mean that much to an individual farmer, but at the co-op, we may run 500,000 or more bushels of grain through an auger every year. With that kind of wear, you need to get as much use from the equipment as possible. 35 mph max. Take it easy. Take it slow. Get there in one piece with no damage.
That’s water not ammonia it would be bad white cloud
Just curious about something. Do you farm? If so... then I guess you understand the cost of moving equipment by hiring someone to do it. If you don't farm. Then be happy you don't pay these type of costs. I'd do the same.
That depends on how you look at it. I myself don't farm but I have worked for an agricultural co-op for fifteen years, and I work with this kind of equipment all the time. And I can tell you that the auger here is not supposed to be pulled any faster than 35 miles per hour. It is not legal to pull this down the interstate (with some exceptions). The type of hitch used to hook it to the truck is not legal on the interstate. But more than anything, he is pulling it way too fast. That auger is very long and very delicate. One hard bounce and it could very easily be bent in the middle. It could even fold in half if it were bounced hard enough. And the bridge approaches on the highway that he is on are not good. (I-29 south of Council Bluffs, IA) I think it is very possible or even likely that this auger sustained some damage from its 65 mph trip down the interstate.
that a nice auger
Good thing it’s a test using water. Ammonia leaking out into the atmosphere would be in a gaseous state and man is it ever potent. It would drop those people behind the camera to the ground in less than a minute.
I went thought ammonia hazmat training and they just opened a small tank for a second and we had to get out immediately.
No way that's anhydrous ammonia. They wouldn't be able to breathe.
if that was ammonia these guys would be in quite a lot of trouble
My guess is you witnessed a hydrostatic test of the tank.
All the meth heads are pistol off now.
WARNING!!!!!!! Video starts at 1:18 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I truly hope they completely drained the tank before they did this. Anhydrous ammonia is not a very healthy thing to inhale
Alot of Tweekers be sayin ohhhhhh... Noooooo when they watchin this! Lmao 🤣
They use water to test the tank pressure capability. That way when the tank breaks it doesn't explode because water doesn't expand. If they had used air the tank would explode
Looks like a failed hydro test.
This why I keep my anhydrous NH3 in the closet
When the tank starts creaking and popping and flakes of paint coming off shut it down and run like hell…
It popped💥
I was super worried until I realized they were just pressurizing it with water lol. If that was anhydrous theyd all be dead as fuck
Ummm. Pretty sure that much ammonia that close would be lethal to the camera man. Not Anhydrous Ammonia in my opinion.
Tweakers shedded a tear on that! Lol I know that’s Methed up!
Water test, not anhydrous inside it or the guys walking up would be Dead dead dead. 👻👻👻👻👻
Its water not ammonia. Good test. Heard the snapping.
Pressure testing the blowout safety valve. Am I wrong??
Definitely a test of the tank. It was filled with water first, to minimize the explosion.
U bet
NH3 would vaporize immediately ,run out on the ground.
I guess that was water.
WELL, at now you have the good base for a monster smoker
That would be a failed hydro test…:)
Now let that be a lesson to all the other tanks
So that wasn't anhydrous ammonia leaking out. I was wondering why those guys were walking toward it so casually without Oxygen breathing apparatus. Meth heads die every now and then at those tanks stealing the stuff and when they spill some on the ground it purges all the air around them, they get a lung full of the stuff, pass out and suffocate to death.
…non-hydrostatic test
And meth manufacturers mess around with these tanks trying to steal Ammonia. Crazy 🤪
Perfect for the environment 🤠👍 Laughing is the hello of a weak mind .
Well....there goes the "Midwest black market economy" for the next year. Lotta rent ain't gettn paid. Lotta girlfriends gonna be puttn in work for awhile.
Owe shit it's the TIC TAC that the army chased
Many years ago I worked at a company that ran blueprints for an engineering department at the county. We experienced a valve failure in the enclosure and both myself and a coworker fell very sick and required hospital treatment and a two week recouperation at home...nasty stuff for sure....
Good camera placement.
Nice to know that was just water? I suggest everyone read the posted description for this video. For those of you in a hurry 1:16
