Making my woodworking logo on diy OX CNC
I want to change the arbor on mine. What is the arbor with the key called?
you will have to remove the boring bar holder block, and then remove the worm gear beneath it, then you will find the screw that holdes the arbor.

I need this in my life
Well and truly over lubricated.
Not good?
@@cave-works It can be a problem, yes. I think at some point we have all done it.
@@SimonPEdwards63 indeed it can be a bit les grease. ( i did it also 27yrs ago when i started) but nice video
Thanks, this is very helpful 👍
Cheap copy of a wohlhopper!
Absolutely not, wohlhaupters are a different animal. They did make a head that was close to the sensitive called the p50. The dandrea is Definitely no copy.... if i was to have a guess, the p50 on the other hand I would say came into existence because of what dandrea where doing right from the start. I own a 120 and have used a few others, nothing cheap about them. My wohlhaupters dont get a look in over my ta120
The word is Wohlhaupter , and these are not cheap nor are they a copy , in fact wohlhaupter have a licence agreement with De Andrea to market the Italian equipment under the German badge , these were the first fully automatic boring heads with adjustment under power , life is easier when you know what your talking about . I have one wohlhäupter left for sale , cheap.
A sim muito simples fácil e prático Nelsinho na chupeta 😢😢😮😅

Freddie Mercury had a song "Too much grease will kill you".... or something like that:P
😄😄
I am impressed with this head and its capabilities...in future if required..pls share your sales contact. Appreciate your efforts of detailing out. Thank you 🙏 namaste.
Thanks!
Hi, very good video! can you make an assembling video for a wohlhaupter upa p50? :)
Thanks! Unfortunately i dont have one, hopefully one day i will, @stefangotteswinter did a video of his
One day I'll get to making one lol
I have one of those, the greatest facing head made. Bless the onslaught of CNC, I can now afford so many previously unaffordable fine tools.
The only criticism is that the shanks are aggravating to change to different spindles. The Narex are much, much easier, but still not half the tool.
oh man I love it
Thanks
Wow! Can you make a walnut one of these for me? I would love to have one to match my other walnut accessories.
I just finished 3 walnut kits instagram.com/reel/ClMSG0cDsle/?igshid=YWJhMjlhZTc=
I just got one... What a treat of a tool!
Do a workshop tour and discuss your different machines
Wow what a mechanism

why all plastic parts in so terrible condition? or its normal for dandrea?
I bought it used in ebay and clearly it didnt had good care specially you can easily damage it if you are not focused and careful while using it, im trying to 3d print these parts hopefully will be the same
@@cave-works if you are interested in 0.002 mm kennametsl romicron boring head - i repaired one of them - just add a comment on video and i m gona open next one. not the smoothest repair, but i made it
Nice job
Thanks
Thank you! Your video taught me two things: 1) I now know how to change the spindle - the spindle I have does not fit any of my machines, 2) I don't need to mess with the internals of this amazing device!
Glade it helped
First of all.......a boring head is a simple device, ( and they are quite cheap on EBAY), to move a boring tool horizontally to increase the diam of the bored hole......the tricky bit comes when you want to face the bore square to the bore and for that you need a boring and facing head and they come in at approx A$2,000 for any you can find even second hand. Spot facing is a poor man's solution (but practical) to having a face square to a bore without a boring and facing head. At all times, if you can manage, it is better to bore a hole in the lathe and face it simply.........that is a toss up for accuracy as most if not all lathes will give you a tapered bore.
Yada Yada Yada my 1960 S lathe makes 50 ish microns taper not really a valid point in that the problem comes with work holding and indexing on lathes
@@dimitartenchev9338 You are lucky, I'm endowed with a 1930 Colchester Bantam lathe.........all lathes will cut taper to a degree, it's in their nature........for really accurate long bores I always use a Tree boring and facing head that I acquired a few years back for my mill...........the Tree boring and facing head will also bore a tapered hole if you need it.
love the music. Would you produce a set of mini parts on order? Im in Australia :)
У Вас в мастерской чище, чем в больнице в операционной!!!))) Вы отличный мастер, оборудование у Вас СУПЕР!!! И кофемашине Вы придали изумительный, эксклюзивный вид!!!! Здоровья Вам!!!!!
I Have my workplace TA160 and i love that tool

Brilliant! What was the solution you soaked the table and handles in?
UncleBman a lot of vinegar
@@cave-works I suspected. I really appreciate your work. It is sad how perfectly good machine tools are discarded usually by government agencies who profess they are saving money.
Pretty Bridgeport. If all the ways have the factory scrap marks you have a really nice mill. Be sure to keep way oil on the the ways. Confirm the oiler system works and lube it regularly.
SpinFast thank you very much
Well done! Hope you're getting it dirty now!
