Hello my name is Steve I own Central Mass Concrete Foundation's Floors. I started the Company in 2000. I worked for 4 different Companies starting in 1994. I took a break after 5 years of Concrete work to pursue a career in Communcations.
I later tested T1 lines, Fiber optics, Configured routers for Companies all around the US. I got laid off right after 9/11 working the Prudential Towers downtown Boston. This is why I got back into Construction.
I also enjoy Hunting, Fishing,Guns, and Cars and Trucks. Occasionally I enjoy making the Best Pizza and relaxing at my backyard paradise which we built ourselves with a Cold Beverage with friends 😜.
Thanks for reading I will have lots of Cool videos coming in every week with lots of material that you have never seen anyone do.

Oh my God this worked!!! thank you so much!! I have been searching for some way to get my display on just so I could adjust the basin treble… amazing…
Awesome Justin, Glad it worked Thanks for watching my video!
Worked
Awesome Michael, Thanks for watching.
Are you looking for form strippers ?😮 I have 10 years experience stripping forms. Plz let me know if you’re looking for people. Thanks !!!
It’s works
Great to here,
It WORKS! 2007 Sport Trac..had this thing 4 months and just accepted my life without a screen lol..thank you!
Awesome, Glad it worked for you thanks for watching,
How long did the linseed oil finish last for you
It last about 3 months
Appreciate the lesson. Was nice that you actually got right to the point, unlike 90% of other creators out there. Which want to talk about their cat or what they had for breakfast for the next 10 minutes.
Thanks Rob, Glad it worked out for you.
We are the boys and squarebodies are the best
Yes I agree.
The part they always skip over, thank you
Thanks Tyler for watching my video.
September 1,2024. Just did this to my 2008 f150 and it works!!! Been years since I’ve seen that screen. Thank you!
Hi Chad, Glad it worked for you thanks for watching.
FYI you can just push on it and it does the same thing.
Thanks for watching moto, it seems to work for most people it seems.
@@74stevedc banging on it does work, so does pushing on it, and there is less risk of cracking the display. Just thought people would want to know.
@moto-fl3rd Great point.
I tried to remove mine but it fell in... It's that bad?
It was my first time doing it, I'd try a drill bit or a easy out Pedro, hopefully it works for you. I was worried that would happen, but you have to get it out or timing will be way off and possibly not run.
Thank you! This video is very helpful to me for my shed on slab build. My research tells me that longer bolts would be better. You used 5.5" and I have learned that 8" bolts would have been ideal for this project, and my own. Also, larger washers would be ideal, such as the big square plate washers that are about 3" x 3". The bigger washers would spread the load more broadly over the sill plate wood. Just me 2 cents. Thanks again!
Great points Thanks for watching my video!
yes
Yes it is.
Looks like a fun car,
Thank you sir, that worked for me lol
That's awesome quick fix no tools required,
just pulled the fonsy 🤌
Awesome, Did it work for you, Thanks for watching!
Do you suggest 1/2" vs 5/8" and 5" vs 6" length bolts, especially when only one treated 2x4 sill plate?
Hi Don, I'd recommend 6" by 1/2 that's the code in Massachusetts every 6' and 1' off corners. Very rarely is it spec'd for every 4' but we did because didn't want any issues. Thanks for watching my video!
I see the wall has an additional layer of timber at the bottom, is that needed?
We didn't build the shed but a double sill is common the bottom should always be pressure treated. The next sill is typically just kiln dried pine walls are framed and stood up on pressure treated. Cheaper builds would just have 1 plate not pressure treated.
No did not work on my 2006 ford focus Funny ash tho
Did you bump it with your plam king of hard,
I'm guessing it's probably same radio, might be different?
@@74stevedc same radio I hit it hard enough I’m pretty sure.. but it’s still just black screen I’m just living with a big speaker in the back seat
Guess it doesn't work for everyone, Thanks for watching my video!
We live in Florida where hurricanes are known to happen. Would this process be better than cables and bolted to cement pad?
I'd do a thicker edge slab maybe 6" to 8" and 4" in the middle for slab thickness. I believe one bolt has a clamping force of about 7,000 psi. So every 4' a hurricane would probably pull the framing nails. They are buy far the weakest link about 140 lbs per nail. I don't have experience in Hurricane builds but believe the sill plate would stay bolted to the slab and shed would be gone if that makes sense. Good luck with your new shed Thanks for watching!
It worked 2007 milan premiere. Never worked since I bought it and you just fixed in seconds some heros don't wear capes!!!!! You rock man!
Thanks Barry, Thanks for watching my videos!

Hi, Glad it worked for you Snoop, Thanks for watching my video.
I've been racking my brain on how to do this. This is awesome. Thank you!!!
Certainly thanks for watching.
I dont care if they offer me a billion to do that, I would still decline. That's not a job for me!
I hear you, definitely not a job for me either.
Nope!
I'm sure there's quite a view from way up there. Thanks for watching.
That looks great! It turned out well.
Thanks Chris, I like the look also Thanks for watching.
Hey how do you estimate the price of the stripping work?
Depends on size, Every job is different with a minimum and liner foot price $30- $125 a linear foot Depends on access rebar, drops height of wall etc.
This is an excellent video. You clearly show how to install and use wedge anchors. I would caution not to drill too deep when there is a concern for overpenetration below. I once installed these in the roof of a train track. Overpenetration would have resulted in debris on the tracks below which could have been a big problem. That being said, it is hard to get all the drill debris out of the hole and your advice is 99% of the time helpful.
Thanks Joe, Great tips Thanks again for watching and commenting are you still doing that type of work?
Great tip drilling deeper than needed to make sure anchor can be placed even if dust is left in the hole.
I have learned better to drill to deep because with the nut and washer it will only allow it to go as deep as it can. Thanks for watching Tom
Did you put a caper barrier or anything to keep water out beneath the framing?
It was a already built shed put down on are pad. They did put a sill seal and we caulked around the base plate heavy inside and out. It's best if your slab is same size as shed and 4-6" off the ground to prevent water.
Pizza looks very good! I'll have to build an outdoor oven now.
It was definitely a fun build and pizza tastes awesome. I have cooked lots of other great tasting food in it also, Thanks for watching my video.
I plan on getting a slab soon & buying my very first shed ever I was wondering for a 10x10 or a 10x12 shed how many anchors would you recommend to hold it down securely? also would I need to put sealant at the bottom of the shed walls since I plan on using the concrete as the flooring would rain water seep in? Or should I not use the concrete as the shed floor? I’m super new to this so sorry if my q’s are dumb!
I'd anchor every 4' if there a door or short section 1 on each side for a total of 2. Caulk along the bottom inside and outside as best as you can. Thanks for watching my video.
I am building shed on concrete floor first time, this is very helpful.
Thanks Gala for watching my video.
I had one break off inside the block today too. I used a 1/2 sheet metal bolt with a 9/16" head and used it to screw into the plastic and through the back of it (pushing down against the side of the hole with the wratchet to drill into the broken plastic housing.. used the screw driver method originally explained here to pull it out.. easy and simple.
Yes, Remember it wasn't fun glad you were able to get it out.
@@74stevedc Than you for making this video!
@@lightpawshird Thanks for watching.
The tool is called a tie breaker
Yes, It is a tie breaker, some call it snap tool thanks for watching Caleb.
Looks great! What do you mean when you say you should have etched it?
They sell a Concrete Etch that's a degreaser that opens up the pours. I think it would have helped I bought it and followed the suggestions. Thanks for watching.
Good stuff! That looks like it took a lot of rolling, but the end result looks very nice!
Thanks Matthew, It looks good and cleans up really easy. Thank you for watching!
I am really slacking. Congrats on hitting 1k! I dont know how I missed that until now. Even with the slight imperfections you pointed out, the floor looks great.
I'm watching your new video now. I haven't made a long in 4 months didn't realize that. Thanks on 1,000 lost about about 120. But it happens.
I did this and now have water coming up through bolt holes and soaking bottom plate wood. Any ideas
Hi Jamie, Did you drill all they way through slab, or could it be coming from siding sitting on the ground.
Thinking back we used silicone caulking at bottom of the floor to the sill and also as best as we could under siding. This one did have a foam sill seal under the shed and top of concrete. I didn't show that in video but customer wanted it done for extra money. We went heavy inside because it had better access. Hope that helps you out.
thanx you relly helps me alot 🎉
Hi Mathew, Glad to hear it went well it's never a good thing seeing something break off like that.

Yes, Very dangerous be careful 🧐.
