Can you expand on that? Hell is looked at as the eternal punishment, separation from God, absence of love and hopelessness. How is hell not worse than the our world? I mean this is a interesting perspective, but I don't get it.

@nebojsagacesa6046 time can feel surreal, what's worse my man, sitting in the worst prison in the world for 70 years which can feel like eternity or losing someone precious in your life, what about all of the women who get raped, all the children who die in wars, Muslim jihadists who slit peoples throats in the name of allah, people don't care if strangers die, just along as their own family circle is untouched

Just shows you just how severe the day of judgement is. Even the most selfless person will think only of themselves.

@ThePaintTalker I agree, but I think humans act on systems of vengeance rather than understanding, and that's why prisons exist the way they do. Hell is kind of a weird concept, but going there based off of your sins, judged by a being that supposedly willed your existence (in most cases), is strange. If the being created you and knows everything about you, surely it then knows the path you'll go down and understands why you chose your actions. If so, how can it judge you based off of scenarios it put you in. Why would a being even put people into existence if they had the chance of being punished forever. Thinking from the POV of the God here, it's more of a magic punishment system and unfair judgement than something to help people (in most cases).

@@dawnscript1 thats because doing anything else is rightfully against most human nature. deep down no matter how much you think you have a moral high ground over others, if you or someone you truly cared about was hurt or tortured by another, you would wish or inflict that same pain back on them. remember its very easy to act as if you would be all high and mighty in these terrible times, but if you actually are honest with yourself, you would see that you would react as any sane righteous human would. the acceptance of violence on our loved ones is the acceptance of violence on all. as for the eternal punishment part i agree its a stupid and unnecessary punishment no matter what they did in life even if it was the worst thing imaginable. no being in existence deserves ETERNAL suffering and pain. at MOST a couple million years just to drive the point home.
