Hi Everyone! 💕 In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make edible rocks. I hope you enjoy and please like and subscribe if you want to see more! Koko 🍰
These look amazing! I wasn’t expecting them to look so similar to an actual rock… but they DO!!!
Can you use chocolate wafers?
Hmmmm, i probable wouldn’t because they might dissolve in the chocolate and not create enough texture. Thanks for watching! 😊
how long did it take to harden/set your fondant to hold its shape?
@@deankimsalibo8552 Hi! Thanks for watching 🌸 honestly it depends on the humidity a lot of the time, for me within a few hours it’s already strongly holding its shape. In more humid places it takes a little longer. Mixing in Tylose can help with that, it speeds up the drying process but be careful of how much you add in, not a lot is needed.
Gracias
Perfect for insane people who wants to eat rocks (me)
Thank you so much ! I was running around town looking for candy that looked like rocks then I made there it was perfect! Thank you for the video!
Эта недосказанность бесит. Было 4 пиалы и что,смешали их?
субтитры объясняют это, но они на английском языке. четыре чаши смешиваются отдельно, чтобы получить 4 разных цвета.
Thank you so much for creating these rocks and gravel! You've made my life so much easier! My grandson turns 2 this weekend and he's obsessed with trucks and construction equipment. Of course that's the cupcake theme. LoL
You are so welcome I’m glad my video came in helpful 🤗❤️ happy belated birthday to your grandson!
I will eating rock for all people in april fool
Perfect for a prank
Beautiful!!!❤

White text on a white background good job
It was my first video ok meanie
This is going to be great for my gingerbread houses!
also wondering is white chocolate is cover choco or real white choco?
I’m not sure what cover choco is but the chocolate I used is a type of baking chocolate
And thanks for watching!
sorry did you put 4 bowl in to one bowl all together at the end or individually made it?
I individually made them, to make 4 different colours of stone (it helps make them look realistic)
very cute 😍
Wrong edibles but il make eddies like these
OOOH SO THATS HOW DIEGO EATS ROCKS
Jesse, we have to cook edibles
Nice, I try to found out an idea, and ended up here. Great job!
wow, that's awesome. thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial with perfect angle and repetition to follow.... do you have a video for the buttercream as it is stiff for piping flowers, please n thanks
Hi there! Thank you for watching ❤️ I usually either make Italian Meringue buttercream or a simple buttercream recipe : ½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature 2 cups icing sugar, sifted 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract 2 tablespoons milk Add in more milk if it’s still too stiff, but add in very little at a time (a teaspoon at a time is good) Italian meringue buttercream is harder to make but it’s so lovely you should give it a try. I use the recipe from the Preppy Kitchen blog online. He also has a UA-cam channel.
So stunning and the colour is so subtle. I love it so much! Thanks for the help I needed for doing these flowers 🥰
Thank you! 🥰 thanks for watching
Que bien explica todo sin omitir nada, felicidades
Muchas gracias! <3
Wowww amazing 😍
Do we freeze them after piping?
Hi there, they harden up a bit of the temperature is cool or cold. If it’s hot then I’d suggest putting them in the fridge if you see them start to droop or melt. Thank you for watching!
Hi a lovely idea..I am definitely trying it ..can you add any cookie crumbs and did u add it in all 4 bowls
Hi there, thanks for watching! ❤️ I added the crumbs into 2 bowls only to create some variety in how the rocks looked
I'd still eat them
Sooo cute!!!
You are doing a great job on your channel!! Your content deserves a service like P R O M O S M!
Hi, can I use water based food colouring?
No I wouldn't do that, it will make the chocolate separate. Use either powder or gel even.
Okay thanks
But is oil soluble colouring works?
It should but I would test it in a small batch before committing to the whole batch, just in case
wicked video!!
Thank you! 🤗
Will almond bark or meltable dark chocolate work?
Thanks for watching! ☺️ yes I’m sure they will work as long as you melt them according to how they melt best.
Great Video Keep it up^^ Support ^^ Stay Conn ^^ Seeu
Thank you for watching!

Amazing, you are so talented! 👏
Thank you so much! Appreciate you watching 💖
Wow beautifully done! Love it!
thank you! 💗
Do you have to mix the different bowls together before it sets? At the end you just have one Bowl
Hi there, no you don't. They harden separately to make different coloured stones. It gives it a nice natural effect. Thanks for watching! 💞 (I just mixed all the finished stones together in one bowl at the end)
have to mix all the four bowls???
Hi there, no they dry separately to create different colours of stones. Thanks for watching! 💓
This is interesting. Can it stay hard in a humid environment ?
Hi! Thanks for watching 💕it should be able to survive humid environments however it may start to “sweat” a bit. It depends on the chocolate you use. However it should maintain its shape in humidity.
I'm going to be making these for my sons birthday cake, I was wondering when it is cooling down do you keep mixing it up to get that consistency we saw or do u leave it and then make it go like that before moulding? Would really appreciate a reply 🙏 video is awesome btw!
Hi and thanks for watching! I did not mix it while it was cooling down. Once it was semi dry and mouldable, as I started taking it out of the bowl it already started having a rough consistency that helped. I'd say just don't let it get too hard before you start shaping the rocks. All the best for your son's birthday and hope it goes amazingly! 🎉
@@CakesbyKoko Thank u so much for this recipe, I made them for my sons digger cake and my whole family thought I was crazy bringing in garden rocks to put around the cake 😆 obvious to say they looked real!
@@Matt-qb1hr That is amazing hahaha, well done!

This looks so cool! It would be great for people who are interested in rocks in general and kindness rocks as a nice edible gift!
I’m glad you like it 😊
Do you need to temper the chocolate? Or use compound? xx
Hi there, thanks for watching! 💕There’s no need to temper the chocolate for this recipe, I’m not looking for any shine
WOWWWW
Thank you! ❤️
Love this!!
Thank you so much! ❤️
