Машина хорошая но для оффроада она непредназначена, ход подвески непозволяет вывешивать как положено колеса чтобы был контакт с покрытием , у меня тоже е53, 4.4, для дороги и путешествия то что надо, иногда где то проехать там где не проедет седан, но не более.

just discovering the awesome forum on this x5 now, Im in the process of converting my GF automatic x5 into a manual, do you remember how to get it to start? Not sure if I need to bridge some of the auto ecu wiring or get a manual version ecu map flashed into mine, would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance and thanks for documenting your awesome build

I have a 2004 4.4i sport. I am trying to find out what transfer case you are running. If I cant get low range I am considering selling it.

You need a Toyota

3.0i or 4.4?

Put the paint and parts also make it original looking with the off road kit and it would be an amazing car

Two questions if wouldn't mind. How did you get low range? Did you adapt another transfer case? Also Will the X5 take 3" of lift without dropping the diffs? Thank you for your help. Trying to build an overlanding vehicle. I appreciate any help.
