You can't convince them...I've tried.. supply demand ect ect ect ultimately mate you have to look after yourself is what I have found...they only get interested when price is through the roof...I've been in since 2015 and metals have been somewhat boring....but I knew the fireworks had to come! Keep on keeping on!

That coloured coin is incredible mate! Can see why its demanding such a high price now. Just got into collecting myself, obviously missed this one. But question for you. Just wondering if you noticed the Perth Mint "released" the gilded 2oz high relief Kookaburra coin today (4th June 2024)? They also had the 2kg honey bee coin up for sale. I thought this might have been a mix up cause they were due for release on 5th June. Regardless, figured I would try buy the gilded 2oz coin. Had it in my cart and went through the ordering process. About an hour later I received an email saying my order was cancelled as the coin wasn't released yet. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else? Has the Perth Mint accidentally released coins early before only to take them back down? Enjoying your videos too mate, keep them coming 👍

I was lucky enough to get a 2024 Australia's Bluebottle from the Perth mint, mintage 2500 only, I have number 0211 comes in a wooden box, very nice. And yesterday I bought 5 2oz 2015 Year of the Goat. Got the 2oz coins for only 125$ which I thought was a good price, what do you think ?
Mate I reckon you got yourself a good buy there. $125 for a 2oz collector coin is actually below retail from the bullion dealers I see. So well done. There are some good deals out there just got to pounce when they come up.
@@will-os2ln Cheers, the guy I buy from looks after me very well (not sure why) if he sends me a photo of something I might be interested in, I check online and the price is usually much lower than other places to buy, he does not take into account the collectability of the coin only the bullion price.
