Texas cattle drive
Переглядів 2218 років тому
A herd of cattle blocked highway 124 while being moved about three miles to a new pasture. Only in Texas would you block a state highway to move your cattle. What a great sight watching real cowboys on horse back working the cattle.

How much for a car like this?
I am curious what that tune is on the start of your video! I can't identify it with either Google Assistant or Shazam! Great video of the Ford hardtop convertible!
Those tail pipes look horrible, surprised since the rest of the car seems to be immaculate.
Beautiful SS. I had a 69 SS 396. I wish I had it now.
Yeah, I test drove one of these, and the way it handled made me think: "I'm sure glad they don't make cars like they used to" But it sure does look great.
In a regular passenger car, COMFORT is more important than handling. Great handling is for SPORTY and SPORTS cars, not cruisers. This car is a CRUISER, not a sports car.
Ford never referred to the Galaxie as a Fairlane 500 Galaxie. Just GALAXIE.
I guess, if you can afford "a toy"; This would be it! At "67 years OLD", in Minnesota; THIS WOULD BE MY ONLY (PROUD) "RIDE"!
Sits too low
my opinion the 59 was the only year the skyliner looked in proportion, they finely get it right and never made them again they did make a retractable mustang in 66 I don't think there are many I'm not sure it ford made them or a custom builder
Enome
This is still impressive Ford engineering even after 70 years. Amazing! 💪💪💪
Hindsight is great. Can only imagine how much money Ford would have made naming the Edsel lineup Galaxie instead, with T-Bird styling cues and innovative options like the skyliner.
Never thought of that, but you might be right! The public LOVED the Galaxie, so, if it was the Edsel instead of the Ford that had the Thunderbird-like roofline, Edsel might have become a sales winner, and we might today still be able to buy a new Edsel!
Never really cared for the retractables but the 59 ford's we're absolutely the most handsome and tasteful car of that year.
Is that a 352?
Love that ford v8 sound.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Plymouth car?
Loving mine too.

Beautiful car
Classic bike
Absolutely gorgeous bike
absolutely gorgeous truck
My 1st car was a 59 FORD TUDOR, powder blue/white, 292, auto,,, in 1966.
I never drive the car over 25 miles an hour and I like to stop every half an hour and give it a rest
Sharp car
Worth money
Hard to find the car in that condition , in iowa
Nous. L’aimons vaut combien
Nice channel just subscribed thanks for sharing the El Camino
not an SS ...should not badge it as an SS...
Accept Jesus as you’re lord and savior and you will enter Gods kingdom of heaven
Cool truck - except for the Chevy engine. It's rediculous when people put Chevy motors in Fords and visa versa.
Nice ride. Ford is the only company that did the retractable hardtop thing, it’s still amazing. A/C and FE engine clinch the functional value, that’s quite the Ford.
Why didn't you put what came in the truck. A FORD MOTOR. DO ALL THAT WORK AND THEN PUT A Chevy motor in it. Not right.😡☹️👎🖕
Cool truck destroyed with turd power! Two thumbs way down!
. 😍
Te tengo envidia por esa camioneta
slow
That's one sharp looking car.
Tá lindo demais meu sonho
Seems like an awful lot of moving parts.
What bench seat did you use ?

Nice.
Cool car, but not in Russia(
400M. why put a smog choked engine in there???? mistake
Cuanto quieres por la bronco
My uncle owns on just like the one shown but is a hard top with a rear spare wheel kit
As much as I love the '64 XL interior, it didn't belong here. The '59 top-line interior was the prettiest they made, IMO. Very well done. They ruined this one. The 2 tone dash doesn't work either. It may have looked better in all red but still...Someone bought it though. The Skyliner was an amazing feat of engineering.
Hey let's see some mid-fifties Chryslers and desoto's DeSoto
Those cars are spectacular 57 58 59 even the 1949 Fords are just amazing just wish there was fuel injection disc brakes and a better coolant system starting with the radiators in those years but if you buy one you can certainly replace them with the updated
You are supposed to keep classic cars STOCK. You can improve the cooling by having the radiator recored with a thicker core. Won't change the looks at all, and on many cars, you can replace the brakes with station wagon or even 1/2 ton pickup brakes. On Fords, you can substitute Lincoln brakes for the stock Ford units. To most people, the car will still look 100% stock, but will have better stopping power, (bigger brakes), and better fade resistance. That's the way we used to improve braking in Hot Rods - bigger brakes. There was no such thing a disks back then.
Had a 70 el camino in the late seventies ,was just as beautiful white with side pipes 307 3 speed on the column ,damn how i miss it! Sounded really nice.
