Freight Train Graffiti benched at Paint Louis 1998
These are freights I benched while hanging and painting at Paint Louis 1998. I thought it was bugged to hold a graffiti event next to an active freight yard, but ok...People were painting the wall, then hit a couple freights, then back to the wall. And all the while cars would roll out of the yard crossing this epic elevated bridge crossing a river as they headed out of town. These were some passing by on the rails.
Lately I've been working on Did You Get A Flick Of That? -Volume 3. This will be the all freight volume with pics I shot between 1995 - 2005, Plus a few contributions from some friends. If your'e not familiar the "Did You Get A Flick Of That" series it focuses on my archives of Graffiti photos. I reached the point were just holding these photos in albums wasn't doing enough for me anymore and I knew it was time to make them available to the public. I have so many pics I decided to create several volumes instead of one giant book that would cost and arm and a leg to publish and then to sell..I currently have Volumes 1 & 2 available on my site. www.mydailyhabitpublishing.com

Graffiti in Newark

Heres some clips from a trip to Newark with Ultra, MZR & Shone 237. Newark was pretty wild, as we finished this wall, the cop drove past, saw four white kids standing outside a car with all four doors open in an overgrown abandon lot and immediately thought it was some sort of car jacking and jumped out and rushed us. We're just painting the wall! haha, they thought we were crazy and left us.. ...

Yoo bro
Late 90s graft was peak technicality. The availability of actual Graf paint brands was a game changer, man hardcore and charhart bombing paint made things look so much more crisp and fresh
1996-2002 is my favorite graffiti era ! Just like WWF wrestling lol
Demon!
Are you from school of arts?

I love 90,s to 2000 nyc throw ups
Holy shit! Dat me! The Avalon!

the handstyles pre internet are so awesome! ted kazcynski was right...
RIP NACE…..King of New Jersey, Freight legend
s90 and early s00 had some of the cleanest pieces and throw ups. The style was different from previous years and now the later years. So many dope writers all over back then. Even the toys weren't so bad...
Fully Agree, I think its also similar to how Hiphop was in the mid 90's At that point the crafts were matured enough to being great, but not completely watered down yet by so much info being accessible where just anyone starts doing it. And many times badly without guidance.
Set up kcw smirk 2dx❤
Very depressing.
Beautiful
