    This was a learning experience for me. Two things. Don't try it when the temps is going to be over 100. And tie the meat down really, really good. And don't start with a whole bag of charcoal like the directions said.

    Useless... not even a good commercial. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT MEDIUM YOU PAID PEOPLE TO PLANT THESE IN??? Where's the instruction? Where's the method.? Where's the information??? YOU SHOULD'VE LET YOUR EMPLOYEES NARRATE THIS. At least they know what they're doing.

    How often do you water them?

    • @davidsgardenseedsandproduc7692
      @davidsgardenseedsandproduc7692 2 роки тому

      As often as the soil needs it. If you live in a place where you get quite a bit of rain, you may not need to. We are in a drought so a few times a week. Always stick your finger down into the soil to see how dry it is before you water so you don't rot them away.

  • @dogtracks39

    Thank you. This is David from DGS. We had a hot summer and in order to keep the watermelon plants alive we had to water them more than they should have been. Then we got some rain. So they may look okay but they taste nasty. I even went to cut one open the other day and it exploded when I just barely put the knife in. Any way the chicken will eat good for a few days since we hundreds that turned out bad.

    Being a fellow veteran keep up the good work. I will be buying your seeds. Please look up the Johnson-Su Bioreactor. It will bring life back to the soil. I'm setting up one myself. I live near Buda and my soil is less than .o5 percent of loam and alkaline. For now I am using wicking tubs (Gardening with Leon) works fantastic even in this extreme heat.

    Mammoth Grey Stripe Sunflower seeds can be found at davidsgardenseeds.com/products/sunflower-tall-single-stem-mammoth-grey-stripe-50-non-gmo-heirloom-seeds?_pos=1&_sid=25f9786a9&_ss=r

  • @dogtracks39
    @dogtracks39 2 роки тому

    These are the mammoth grey stripe sunflower. Can grow up to 12 foot tall with 12 inch heads. When they are mature, the head will bend over and start the drying process. Why do they bend over you ask? It is harder for birds to land on them and eat the seeds. Seeds can be used for human and animal consumption. For birds put the whole head out.
