Know your first due - Ft Washington Fire Co - Online Training
Переглядів 4744 роки тому
This video is the 2nd online training drill we have had during the COVID pandemic. Since we can not hold any hands on training we have been using Zoom to hold our weekly training drills online. This drill covers street addressing, cross streets, hundred blocks & running routes. This information helps our firefighters determine what is the best route of travel to incidents and also provides valu...
Non Destructive Entry for Firefighters, Police Officers & EMS by Deviant Ollam
Переглядів 426 тис.4 роки тому
At Fort Washington we are always looking for new training opportunities that can help keep our firefighters prepared for anything they may face. Sometimes we look outside the fire service for things that we can apply to our trade. This class came about after a conversation about passive entry with John Buttrick from Coastal Fire Training. He told me about a guy on UA-cam Deviant Ollam. Deviant ...
Engine 88 stretching the 300ft 1.75" at a dwelling fire.
Переглядів 9004 роки тому
Engine 88 responds to a reported dwelling fire in the first due. The engine laid a 5" supply line from the hydrant into the scene. As units arrived nothing was visible but after investigating fire was located and extinguished on the roof. The crew stretched a 300ft 1.75 line off the rear hose bed. This line has an Elkhart Brass Chief XD 75psi 150gpm nozzle.

Short video of side C of the last training fire. We had fires in two units on both floors. Crews did a great job and brought them under control quickly.
Live fire training in acquired row homes.

This video from one of the multiple training fires we had in a group of row homes we were given permission to train in. This class was a 16hr structural burn certification run by the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. This type of training gives our firefighters the ability to train under real conditions in a controlled environment. This was the first live fire training held in Montgomery County,...
Passive / Through the Lock Entry Training
Переглядів 2,5 тис.4 роки тому
This is a brief video of our first hands on drill with passive entry. Quite often we need to gain entry into buildings at non priority calls where we do not want to cause any damage. There are a multitude of techniques and tools we can use to gain entry that will allow us to secure the building when we leave. The tools in this video were included in a kit we procured from Coastal Fire Training ...
it's interesting to see a guy who hates cops teach cops how to get into buildings
Dont forget mcab. Don't teach tyrants, they will abuse that knowledge.
1:36:30, deviant actually bridges the postal switch inside instead of bridging the relay
Does anyone have any books to recommend on this subject? Would be greatly appreciated thank you.
Would the Gold Harbor freight spring loaded center punch work well on hinges?
I remember one time following a blood trail up five flights of stairs only to have to call fire..: Cause the apartment was full of a dozen illegals & as soon as fire brought a set of irons up and was about to breach the door just opened. Like magic…. From the inside… But what if it didn’t? They might’ve let that woman bleed out for fear of la migra.
I think a big thing to consider is flow path. When the non destructive method takes the same amount of time as the destructive one, it should always be preferred, because it allows you to maintain better control of the flow path.
And I watch this video as a german firefighter and only think how little security you guys have over there. Here every door has at least one door rabbet and with the euro lock an attack like 22:30 does not work.
I would really love see Deviant making a speech targeted to European audience. Every time I watch these videos I'm in shock, because my old wood shed with an old Abloy lock tumbler seems to have better security than many 'secured' places in US 😮.
Do a search for this: LAW ENFORCEMENT’S CODE BOOK FOR THE MASTER LOCK COMBINATION PADLOCK You are looking for a .PDF file that is searchable for the numbers stamped on the back of the lock.
In our local area, we have a program for at risk elderly people who can have a Knox box for their residential home. We can make entry easy to help them as first responders and can lock up when we leave.
Poor audio, poor video! Needs post production cleaning up.
Hh😅t😢y
All the trades know that locks are to help the wealthy an ignorant "feel" safe. We all know how to bypass. But it is important to keep them ignorant. How else will they feel safe? What we know is that it is those that they know that are most likely to rob them.... and those in the same social circles share the same ignorance.
Algorithm.
7:58 HAHAHAHA, that's a hoof pick. It's used for digging stones and debris out of a horse's shoes. A must have for an equestrian farmer! Never thought I'd see it used as an entry tool! Man that put a smile on my face.
Of course his 1st name is Deviant. 🪛🔓😂
Interesting fact….The A126 is still highly used. But not the 4 pin version your showing here 1:14:39 The modern A126 is a 5 pin key. The 5 pin version is backward compatible with the 4 pin locks. Linear does still make and sell the standalone and weigand keypads with standard the A126 4 pin locks. Liftmaster still uses the 5 pin A126 on several products. Other brands in the automated gate industry do still use the 5 pin A126. So strangely around gates and pools the A126 is still sold and in use to this day.
I see REX sensors on doors that don't even have handles on the outside. Why is that?
Now I can get into US properties but in Europe, the first 30 minutes had nothing that could open the door of my room lol. Some of these issues just seem like design issues that disappeared here about 100 years ago... I wonder what the weak points are here
Wow... I want work this company!!... email me Deviant Ollam. I learned so much from this. I've been picking for 18 years and this is some sexy knowledge! Email me.
wealth of info!
Thank you very much for your Seminar. I learned a lot of things I didn't know . Thanks this was a big huge refresher course.
This guy makes presenting look so easy.
8:20 LOIDING 12:30 SEARAT
He's right about those key lock boxes. About 2 minutes at most to unlock.
1:39:52 my kaba lock at the apartment complex was also 2 and 4 together and then 3 lmaoooo
Excellent lecturer, greatly augmented things I learned over years of brief exposures working with locks and alarms and forced entries. Thanks
Dead
Gorgeous lecture. Thank You for sharing. Hello from Belgium.
An interesting story about REX sensors. I was working at a secured facility (I will not mention where). The way the entrance worked was there was a vestibule you could badge into, and then you would put your phone in the cubbies there. You then badged into the actual secured area. A message was sent out for employees to please not hang out in this vestibule and check their phones. While an explanation was not given I assumed it was because the REX sensor was being tripped, leaving the door unsecured.
My freaking cat set off our glass break alarm at 1:08:50 and it took me a good couple seconds to realize that the alarm was coming from the house because of the epic timing. I was shocked that one of the pen testers set off an alarm. Then the alarm kept going after the clip and I was like. "Wait a minute...."
Imagine police caring if they're destructive.
I work as a security guard, and what do i do when i have nothing else to do? I inform myself. I work in europe, so half of this video might not apply here. But there still is a lot to learn, and maybe i start in a pen-testing company one day, you never know. Also i love it when one UA-camr mentions another, so bonus points for that!
✌🙋♂️Thank you for Sharing
this is amazing and disturbing. We are assuming that the majority of people watching are honest.... This guy is good and the information well presented.
No... as one of the very first security red hats, a man named Frances Hobbs (1851), explained "most thieves are already aware of anything I can discover. Thieves will always be looking for better ways to be a thief." Yes, especially in the US where fire codes are complicated, these are serious risks. It is why any business with more than a couple grand worth of stuff has either security or an alarm. Locked doors are first doors, then locked. It is easy to unlock them. While here he was teaching people we want to know how to get in, how to get in faster, for the rest of us, he is showing how not to be such an easy target.
Ignition USA has the SeaRat on pre-order. FYI.
Deviant is the best at this stuff. 🙏 He's also charismatic so it's makes it very easy to listen to and understand.
These people's hands are so tied with these city codes I feel bad for them but not really
Fucken shit up is a relly fun thing hulk smash
Welcome to how to be a better criminal 101.
the problem is that in this part of the world you accommodate minorities with disabilities! how about those needy people take care of their own needs themselves, like getting a device which enables them to open the door where they are trapped behind. or avoid places like that in total so the rest of the population can have save door locks
I’ve watched all of Dev’s videos, now I’m a felon. True story.
At least 15 years ago i lost my keys it was late a night and very cold so i booted the door open it i got it open in three boits its amazing hiw much strength you have when your extremely pissed off oh and UK doors are not like US doors. They are much harder. 🇬🇧👍
@ 1:39:09 That is a door for an Alzheimer's facility so that staff and visitors can get out but the patients can't.
Got here from lock picking lawyer. It's the only 2 hour YT video I've ever watched. Not just informative, but entraining too 👍👍
Minor point, but that's a framing square not a T-square ( which is usually made of wood, is shaped like a T not an L, and was used on an old fashioned drafting table back before CAD.)
Deviant uses words like "verbotten" and "schlepp". Didn't know he could speak German.
As a paramedic working in an area where we don't always have the fire department to fall back on for entry, I appreciate the info. Probably gonna put together a small kit for those rare circumstance where memaw is having a COPD exacerbation and can't get up to unlock the door for us. Thanks king 👑👑👑.
