I don't know if everyone is effected immediately but I concur.. 50+ sister and owning my natural hair for my styles for while now. I just could not understand why my healthy natural hair shed so much after removing the synthetic hair. Since pulling away from the synthetic hair the shedding has reduce to a worry free amount, very little amount. Let's do research on the hair products ingredients and brand's hair extensions chemical prorcess before using and purchasing.

Minoxidil is the strongest hair growth stimulate and it's side effects are near non-existent. That's why it's sold over the counter

It makes me angry of the nasty side affects of minoxidil

I actually tried minoxidil for 6 months and I had to stop because of the side effects!

Just hearing everything that come with using minoxidil, I wouldn't try it even if it was the only option left. And why don't they talk about all of the side effects then?! It's just scary

I already have a mustache and beard.

I am afraid of itching, dryness of hair and scalp, irritating of my scalp, and I already have psoriasis. I don’t have a very bad case, but I don’t want to make it worse and I also don’t understand how my hair is going to look the way I want it to look if I have to keep putting this foam in it every day.🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️💀

My dermatologist has recommended my Noxell and so has my hairstylist, but I am very reluctant to start using it even after buying the Walmart brand foam for women 5% minoxidil. I am just really afraid to start using it because I have read about so many horror stories.

I would love to go sugar-free, but I don’t know how I would do that because I do not like artificial sweeteners.😝🤢🤮Most of them have their own bad side effects, that I don’t want any part of.

I’m just going back to putting two big braids in my hair and wearing my hair like that because i use to wear my wigs without caps and that was a huge mistake i got soooo much breakage so im giving wigs a rest for at least a year unless im going somewhere special. So im just going to do 2 braids or roller set or perm rod my hair.

Love these forms of educational hair content. I have sooo much information on these holistic approach to hair growth and hair health! I can listen to and talk about these types of topic all day everyday lol. I am only 4mins into the video so I don't know if you're going to mention this *BUT* I have to add that it would be great if we can go to a dermatologist who specialises in afro-textured hair and scalp, simply because our vitamin and blood levels etc differ from other ethnic groups; therefore we tend to require more. Sometimes when they say we are within the range for vitamins, blood count or whatever they're looking for, that is based on a standard that doesn't apply to us. I have been to the GP to get my bloods done to find out what was the cause of my hair loss; and my results came back fine. I was like, "Clearly it cannot be fine if I am experiencing this issue"... Additionally, slightly unrelated but still lends to the point - Along my fitness journey I decided to check my BMI using the NHS website. And according to my weight ,height, age and *ETHNICITY* they claimed I was overweight by 2lbs, and suggested how I am prone to all types of diabetes and that I should speak to my GP etc. But, when I changed my ethnicity to say I am a white woman it stated I was healthy and it gave me all these healthy tips and tricks to do to maintain my healthy weight. Saying all that to say, our vitmains and blood levels etc is very unique to our ethinic composition, so having someone who specialises in afro hair and scalp is key.

The funny thing is, is that my hair is growing like crazy ... although my hair has always been thick and long, just not nearly as thick now. Please, need help!
