Is it a state of grace that anyone can achieve by trying, or its only those born with such grace and annoiting?

@@georgemwangi1080 all power is been available to all of us by Gods grace.. we are just too busy and not willing to do it.. distractions and work and families stand in the way.. but if u reallly want it u can get it

​@georgemwangi1080 the first one, anyone can achieve it, stay in the word of God daily and pray daily in the spirit (aim for 1 hour, and after a few days you will succeed to pray for 1h). After 49 days it also happened to me -> I can hear God's voice with clarity and all the time now. Praise God! Stay in obedience, in His word and prayer daily & look for a Spirit-filled and led church. God bless you!

@@georgemwangi1080 start with for how long you are confortable and then increase. The idea is of a marathon, not of a sprint. So do it again, as the Spirit leads you, and God will fulfill the desire of your heart. Also, you can pray during the day in tongues, as you do your daily activities, in the back of your mind. This will also help if you want to have more hours of prayers. But the idea is the quality first, and be obedient to God, and not renounce no matter what. And He will reward you, be sure of that bcs it is written in the Bible. :)

Take advantage of the 3rd hour of the day to pray against lust.

Many times the devil draws us back into old habits by bringing to us "rememberances of Egypt". Basically he'll draw you back with little foxes relating to the sin that you should have cut off completely and it now seems like it's impossible to resist... meanwhile that isn't the case It could be a conversation with an immoral friend or a funny page on social media or a phone call with a former sin partner. These things are capable of becoming pitfalls for believers even after long periods of supposed uprightness The spirit of God prompts us to let go of EVERY WEIGHT, giving no opportunity to the devil to encumber us. So for instance it may be time to delete some phone numbers, unfollow some accounts, delete some media, stop following some movies or songs, etc Dunno if this will help you directly but it has also been my experience so I thought to share with you as well. Sometimes it's more effective to not just pray but to take authority over a demonic spirit and cast away it and it's influence. The spirit of God gives the believer that authority That's akin to prayer but it's not the same thing. So when the thoughts come upon you, recognise the spirit and come at it with the word of God (use words like 1 Thessalonians 4:3). Declare and confess aloud and condition yourself and your environment to those words God has given us power and authority in many areas and sometimes it's redundant to keep asking him for a grace that be already gave instructions for❤

@@akinoluolusina Yes is about praying . Jesus sayed to his disciples :" There are a type of demons that cannot be cast out but trough fasting and ? Yes ...prayer

@@DeciovToni-qt9ic he only said that about one demon, in the entire record of his ministry and he didn't say "some types" he said THIS TYPE...he was referring to that particular demon. Why? Up until that point the disciples had never had to pray to see a demon go out before them. And Jesus wasn't even talking about praying about the demon. What was peculiar about that situation that made Jesus say that? It was UNBELIEF!!! The father of the boy with the demon did not believe that the disciples or even Jesus could remove the demon from his son. He even acknowledged it when he said "Lord I believe, help my unbelief" essentially saying "help me with more faith". He came to test Jesus' power not with hope. That was what Jesus said required prayer. The bloody demon on the other hand? That requires nothing but a command from a person with authority from God. Apart from that time did you ever hear of prayer being connected with casting out devils in the scriptures? I don't think so Unbelief is dangerous to the working of God. It even limited Jesus in his hometown and so he could do no mighty work

@@DeciovToni-qt9ic read again... please why not just cite which other demon Jesus ever mentioned prayer when he motioned to cast it out? And no one ever underplayed the importance of prayer, rather only emphasizing it's place. Just because prayer is important doesn't mean that you will exclude other principles like the believer's authority. If you neglect it you won't learn to walk in it. The same Jesus that said that that demon would only come out through fasting and prayer also said that he gave his disciples authority to heal the sick, raise the dead and to cast out devils. That's the point, not that prayer is unimportant

There are worse spirits I assure you...this one is just very common to plenty people. I mean there are murderous and maddening spirits. If lust were to be cast out and return, it too would bring back 7 spirits more wicked than itself. It can't possibly be the worst. There are spirits of deep hatred stronger than a lustful spirit (see the case of Amnon after he had raped his sister Tamar. The hatred he felt towards her is said to have been stronger than the love he initially felt)
