I've only seen those cognac pillows in a D2. ua-cam.com/video/J2dgefUQ1oQ/v-deo.html (7 minutes 34sec). I didn't know they were D3 pillows too. I've got a set in platinum from a D2 S8 (PR code VA6). My D2 A8L also has quattro GmbH rear pillows in a different style.

My W12 is the bollocks. It's the most powerful car I''ve had, like a luxurious sledge-hammer. Get the f'k in. I've had better performing cars around the twisties, like the Evo 6 Makkien Edition (mildly tuned) but NOTHING beats the W12.

Any suggestions as to how to repair, also looking to change the front suspension bushings. Will this car ride smooth with larger wheels. Currently has 19" wheels and tires. I was looking to replace with 21" any recommendations?

Does V8 4.2 40V naturally aspired engines have same problems with 4.0 biturbo V8?

Came across your stuff on Reddit, so I’ll definitely keep you in mind when I am ready for a W12. I’ve always thought these cars are high maintenance but you mentioned on that same Reddit post that if taken well care of, there isn’t much these cars/engines really need. Which has put my mind at ease
