Well done The Ramblers. There is a much easier way up Helvellyn from the other side. 2 hours up and 1 hour down. The summit of Helvellyn is so flat fixed wing aircraft have landed on it.
Thanks for that, we had a great day, and were not particularly looking for the easiest way... we walked from the place we were staying, which was Elm Howe in the Grieshdale Valley.....
