recently purchased 2nd 10-10 scales and found the were inconsistent on zero so decided to swap out pan ballast for fresh lead, it was needed !!!!!!!

Agreed, a complete pos. Even after getting those off the nuts can be impossible to undo, even levering with a 3 foot tube! might try heating them.

Absolute life saver, tried to remove a fiesta mk7 alloy wheel yesterday, thought it would be a simple five minute job, turned into an absolute farce. Ford are an absolute joke 😂

While lead doesn't rust as such, it *does* oxidize over time, getting a gray fuzzy appearance. That shot that you used to replace the old will also oxidize, and it seems to me that the best solution would be to use either copper-plated (good) or nickel-plated (better) shot to totally sidestep the oxidization issue.

Do NOT follow this guy's advice. There's a legitimate way to remove lug nuts without doing any damage. Keep searching videos or talk to Ford dealer. You have to take 3 of the lug nuts off which are marked with grooves, then pop off hubcap then remove remaining lugnuts.
Strange, the car I was working on did not have a hubcap of any sort.... and if it wasn't for this video the lady would still be at the side of the road with a flat tyre.
I came across this clip when looking for some advice and sadly made the mistake of following these instruction only to find out afterwards that you can undo the wheel nuts with the covers still on. Please don’t make the same mistake as I did, as you’ll end up with ugly looking uncovered wheel nuts as I now have.
Your unique then buddy because the wheel brace that comes with the ford focus does not fit the nuts with the covers on and judging by how flimsy they wer i wouldn try it for fear of damaging the real nuts, as for bein stuck with the ugly ones, as soon as i had them off i immediately replaced them with proper chrome one from a local motor accessory shop but each to there own 👍

Hi I have same problem of water in boot mk2 focus. Have a similar crack in roof under trim but on opposite side. Just wondering did this fix solve the problem completely? Thanks for vid.
Yea fixed it, ive been checking it every few months and its been holding up 100%, very common problem from what ive heard, hope you get it sorted but yea solved completely buddy

@@noahfinnmandolin I've just been out and lifted that plastic rail up a bit and put a load of clear RTV silicone down it and around the nearby welds. Pushed the rail back and hope for the best. I'm fault finding bit by bit
