I don't know, maybe they should've put more wires in there. That way you'd have backup wires when the original wires went bad! For real though, that sucks.

This mass of spaghetti screams fire hazard imo. Also would be beneficial if other colors of wire were used. I tend to use red for positive, blue for negative, and green for ground when possible.
I unplugged the dummy plug it started charging plugged it back in and smoked the alternator

Before I let my boat loose from the trailer I always check the fittings a through hull fittings, boat engines create a lot of vibrations through out the boat especially when underway
Yeah but in this case was the first time it ran so I just don't know what happened with it coming loose. It's not like me to have it loose but shit happens.

It's hard to say it was awhile ago and the owner was diesel mechanic/parts swapper that started messing with everything and he cause 2 of the problems. It ended up having a stuck Unison ring.
So what did you do to remove the bolts in front of the part you just plopped down in there
Not sure if ur referring to the front oil cooler bolts? But I use some 1/4in 10mm socket and long 1/4in extension. Hope this answers ur question. Thx for checking out my video
I use a 1/4in socket and extension and u need to put the front bolts in the housing before installing it but thx for checking out my video.

I just got this code on my 2005 f250 weekend truck that only has 82,134 miles on it.
Definitely watch all ur readings threw a scanner on it. Make sure ur ipr valve never hits 85% under full load/ acceleration. In this video it ended up being a plugged oil cooler but every truck is different though. Have a good 1

Funny you say that cuz I'm working on 2 6.7 right now doing engine swings because the EGR cooler failed and bent a rod 50,000 miles on one and 80k on the other. And is setting the customer back 20K on each. Thx for checking my channel

784k on my original stock 6.4 2009 f450 just keep oil changed and new fuel filters...

@marksrepairj623 I have an 08 6.4 . I watch everything carefully . this design is so you have to take care of the engine . emissions was their main concern .. 👍

@marksrepairj623 I can't believe the way it runs . FORD does update the program . Any involvement with SVC or emissions , I change the oil . When the oil is changed , I really know the difference .

Man, I just started watching your channel. Ford should hire you as the lead engineer. lol I found this 08 350 dually. 115k. Carfax maintenance has been great. several owners. I really want it, but just in case something goes wrong, how far are you from Maryland. lol Looks like you're in Southern California. San Diego

Yes it's a bit on the expensive side but it fixed all my water in oil issues and it 100% Performance upgrade over most exhaust systems on the market
@@marksrepairj623 thank you for the response, I have been looking at this exhaust but haven’t seen anyone using it, looks super clean and sounds freaking nice! I got a pressure relief and stopped getting water in my oil, have you seen those? Was less than 200$ and solved a few other problems too
@@josephsimpson1510 yes I run the water pressure regulator set at 15psi. But when I put this exhaust on I had to adjust it. I bought it from cp performance and was not disappointed with the quality and how its lasted
On a 6.4 f350 what causes lost power
Not to be funny but everything. It could range from ebp sensor, turbos, vgt actuator and more.
Not to be that guy but that isn't what plugged up the oil cooler. Fuel cooler is a separate system and doesn't use coolant from the engine.

Mark I have this 6.4 with the original 15,000 miles but started to make the typewriter noise is this is normal?

@@marksrepairj623 Yes like when is cold it doesn't do it but when operating temp starts to to this, like a tick noise

Mr Mark why can't you put a high preasuer hose out of where ipr screws in an move my ipr out front for easy axcess,I think it may just spin over longer??
If I'm understanding what ur saying is relocating iprv via a hose? Don't think that is possible but it still wouldn't fix the high pressure oil rail stan plugs failing

I want to jump into a diesel but dont know to jump on a powerstroke 6.0 or 6.4 what would you recomend it will be mainly used as a ranch truck
Yeah I understand but there is no comparison to a diesel for towing power. Think if you don't need a 4x4 then u can pick up older diesel for under 10k all day

I would buy it. If it was the right price. No markup for work done. Then put a coolant filter on and a double delete properly tuned and maintained it could be a trouble-free truck for another and 200K miles
I just want market valve for it. Tuning and delete is on the new owner

my 2005 6.0 engine fan running constantly. Eot and coolant temp all good on the Scan gauge 2 , any idea ? thanks
I would connect a scan tool to see if ecm is commanding it on or u could have a shorted fan clutch.

yes , I know the BODY mounts are involved with the TURBO SVC. NEW body mounts cost me 1600.00 ... nice video .. 👍
