This was pretty much my third attempt so i played really poorly. I have no clue how to deal with the minions without some aoe character like Willow or a panflute. Hopefully Wurt's skilltree gives her a perk that lets her drop fish and frog legs whenever she dies

There's a severe lack of wickerbottom tentacle boss rushes on UA-cam. Walik's awesome dragonfly speedrun tournament submission is basically all there is.
You're looking in the wrong spot essentially. Unseeded runs don't use that strategy because it requires a specific set piece configuration that is practically impossible to find using manual resets. Seeded runs may use that, but not unseeded.
