Hello, we were watching your rollercoaster video. I think it is your son passing out on the rollercoaster? You should get him checked out for POTS or any underlying heart/health conditions. This is NOT a judgement on parenting or anything. Just concerned for the little dude. I have POTS and a lousy heart so that is why it stood out to me. P.s. I hope he's okay and that he is also a trooper for wanting to go again even though he passed out haha.
Thank you for your concern! He got checked out shortly after this and the doctor said he is good to go. May not hurt to get a second opinion, though. Thanks again for your kind concern. ❤️
@@ericanichole5418 That is awesome. I am very glad he is okay:) I actually had about ten opinions from different doctors telling me I was fine until I found a doctor who specialized in what I have. As POTS is just being recognized more and more with a lot of doctors. But good news is, POTS can be temporary for many teens through puberty due to the body growing and the heart having to adjust to the changes. But I myself, nearly died in 2005 from myocarditis aka heart failure due to what they believe was a viral infection. I was almost 17 at the time. I haven't been the same since but I am still alive and kicking haha. You can ask for a tilt table test. They administer adrenaline whilst tilting the table to get a read on heart rate, blood pressure, etc. All under close supervision. Also an electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, or stress test. Though the stress test and tilt table test can be gnarly. They have their risks.. So if you pursue it, make sure you go through everything about it so you can make a well informed decision. But there may be new tests now? I had mine done over twelve years ago. So tech may have advanced a bit haha. But only if the duder is showing any symptoms since then, otherwise he may have had the temporary kind and grown out of it. Anyway, I wish you guys all the best:)
