#Bitchin' 🤪💞💞
Did you use a bra-low lens for the teat setup? 😀
Waw. Wonderfull
Awesome work!!
Hey Matthew - did you ever get this working? I am having the same problem Windows 11 Autostar 497 Meade ETX-125 USB comm port works fine with Autostar suite on Windows - nothing at all in Stellarium
Do you get the kiln up to temp before putting it in? How long do you anneal before slowly dropping the temp?
Curious if you are still making knives?
Install the new version 1.1 form oct/31/2022
Literally had the same issue last night trying to set up Stellarium with OnStep.
The Telescope OK button works in version 0.22.2 but not the latest version 1.22.3. Try to re-install the prior 64-bit release. That is what I had to do.
I have the problem too....
Is there already an solution for this issue?
Anyone find a solution to this??
Nice. Just a shame that the programs doesnt work as intended. I cant understand why celestron never adresses this. Cpwi got a pec recording inside, why not make it able to record multiple cycles and average etc. I havnt been able to work around it for over a year. Tempted to try program my own program for this.
On cloudynights forum I have a thread going while figuring bigger secondary. There is a lot of opinion and a thin wedge on one side giving a few straight lines seems the way to spot astigmatism.
Beautiful knife. Excellent design, and workmanship.
Nice work around!!!👍 Cheers!!!
Very nice rifle. I like it!! I am thinking of getting a Ruger Predator in 308. I like how you did the light mount. I really like the sights. Beware the man with one gun, he likely knows how to use it!!
Interesting. I'm going up a learning curve to repair a kukri wooden handle that has come apart. I did months of aggressive striking of a suspended hardwood target, and left it in the garage during the winter, and it's quite old anyways. Someone on UA-cam said Loctite E-120HP is good stuff.
Nice 👍. Who makes this rear sight? Thank you 👍
How did you inlet the rail into the end of the stock? Just drill a hole and fill it with epoxy?
What kind of sites did you put on it?
Wonderful to find someone taking this project on and finishing it all. I made a 164mm primary f3.8/f13.5 Dall Kirkham. After iteration figuring have a perfect scope. Your primary looks a bit thin and if it works though it keeps mounting simple. I rebuilt a massive cast iron equatorial stand. With such a long focal length rigidity is essential. Imaged Jupiter moon as a crescent which is beyond the normal 1/8 wave optical quality but made several secondaries to get there. Well done to persevere
Nope
Nice job on the heat treat
I have 2 Scout Rifles. A Ruger and my old customized Enfield. I love what you did with this though. Sounds like it was a lot of work, but it’s pretty darn cool. I have an American Predator in .308 in a Magpul stock. Great rifle, but a bit heavy. Thanks for sharing this!
MP I show off yr angle iron video all the time wish i took u up on a offer from you years ago to get one of your MASTERPIECES
I like it. I wanted a scout or something like that, but first budget and now availability rule out those more expensive options. So I'm treating my Ruger American in 556 similarly. But I don't have your skills, so I had to order some irons. Found some nice- and strong-looking irons from NoDak Spud. Can't wait to get them on...
Just saw nodak spud makes iron sights for the american ranch in 556. Looks pretty solid
We think the NDS-55 will fit the 308. 243, etc because they are also a short action. We had a custom send us the hole spacing on his 308 and it matched. The new front sights will be made in .750" and .730" to cover a few more models.
@@NoDakSpud I put the No Dak sights on my 5.56 and they worked great! I even managed to put a quick release scope mount on OVER TOP of the NDS-55 sights!
Looks like a sweet gun.
Great job. I like it
It works better than it looks. Thanks Matthew, for making this for me!
Phenomenal craftsmanship even with grubby prints on it.
Cudos! Any price?
What is that impressions called on the blade part matt? Whn i eventually get one made from you thats part of how i would love to have mine like with a iron wood burl handle that looks like im holding fire 🔥 . Yr work is amazing
Thank you. The surface texture is a result of hammering the bevels into the knife rather than grinding them
@@matthewpaul6491 thanks for responding🕉🤘🏽 yr work is amazing. Ive must of shown off a video of yrs were yr hammering through a piece of angle iron like a trillion times.
No one does iron wood burl like you matt
Amazing work
How is your power hammer now
I still use it on a regular basis making cutlery full time. I have since upgraded the ram to 70lb
It’s like the Frankenstein of rifles.
Pretty much
Matthew Paul I say that with respect cause it’s a one of a kind.
That's awesome, even better than a 527. I don't have the equipment or skills to do that myself.
Really nice rifle

Factory stock with some work done to it and HK G3 sights
Beautiful work! As always!
Thank you!
You should make a shooting video with this gun ❤️
Absolutely fantastic!!!
Thank you!
Good Job!
Beautiful work
This is a beauty in Matt

How did you mount the front sight to the barrel. I’m thinking about doing the same thing but I’m torn between using an epoxy or soldering it on.
I brazed it in place.
