    I have a headband (the kind that wraps around your head, like those sweat bands people used to wear on their wrists but bigger) and I'm pretty petite so it fits around me and works well as a binder, but idk if it's safe or not I really don't want to break my ribs or something. Can someone help me out? Edit: I had been wearing it for a week or so but my ribs have been hurting out of nowhere these day and that's probably a bad sign but I won't have access to a real binder until next year so...😓

    • @ilikefood8984
      @ilikefood8984 6 років тому

      Hana Kibret it depends it probably wouldn’t because it probably doesn’t get tighter during the day and if it gets tighter during the day then it’s not safe

    • @Jukeboxinc
      @Jukeboxinc 4 роки тому

      That isn’t safe. It’s meant to be around your head, and it may bind well, but it’s to tight. If your ribs are hurting, please stop. That might happen with a real binder, but you just need to stretch, and make sure to cough when taking it off Incase any liquid built up in your lungs, that happens

      @· ズリ · LOL ... What is messed up is YOU and this clown you worship. This is a mentally ill gay girl spewing nonsense on UA-cam. It is always entertaining the mental gymnastics the trans UA-camrs present. Males impersonate females and want to date males ... the shortcut is they are actually gay. Females impersonate males and want to date females ... the shortcut is they are actually lesbians. Teens are extremely malleable. Teens are being encouraged to freeze their sense of self in a moment in time, during the period of life when everything is in flux. And even though key researchers have said over and over again that most gender dysphoric kids “desist” and grow up to be gay or lesbian and most grow to accept their biology; even though the latest research denies any such thing as a “male” or “female” brain, parents are encouraged to socially transition their kids, put them on “puberty blockers,” and refer to them by “preferred pronouns and eventually guide them to mutilate their genitals. More and more clinicians have identified severe problems within gender medicine which coalesce around the clinical and cultural invention of ‘the transgender child’. These problems are: an excessively affirmative attitude to the self-identifying transgender child; an inability to stand up to external trans lobby groups; the undermining of a coherent clinical model of child and adolescent development; and serious ethical and safeguarding issues. Clinicians recognize they need to resist the dominant narrative and seemingly intractable ‘truth’ of ‘the transgender child’. Behind the public presentation of gender identity development services lies a subterranean stratum of anxiety in some clinicians about the ethics of transitioning children and young people. Many clinicians find no evidence for innate ‘gender identity’, refuting quasi-biological arguments promoted by transgender ideologists such as ‘in the first few hours of life or pre-birth, there’s a surge of testosterone or something that’s made a girl more masculine’. More and more clinicians have expressed concern about being required to work without a cogent evidence-based model for intervention. They described working in an atmosphere in which ‘thinking is shut down, questions aren’t allowed to be asked and research is never done. People are waking up to the harms of trans for children and young people, but transgender ideology is still marching into schools disguised as LGBT acceptance. Kids with perfectly normal unease or confusion about bodies and gender are getting dragged onto the transgender conveyer belt of affirmation, blockers, cross hormones, and surgery. LGB kids are passé. Transactivism is a form of bullying: if you’re not porn-culture straight, a proper ‘boy’s boy’ or ‘girly girl’, you must be defective, in need of fixing, by reclassification, drugs or a scalpel. My head is full of questions about why we are allowing this to happen. Is the explosion in the number of transgender-identifying young people a symptom of a society leaving little room for kids to be themselves outside of increasingly restrictive gender roles? How can we keep the conversation going to keep kids safe? The goal of the transgender activists is to try and get their numbers up in order to normalize their agenda. They care nothing about seeing people reach a healthy view of their biology and not needing to take drugs and have their genitals and breasts mutilated. Impressionable teens make easy targets. They are even unethically influencing autistic children to change genders. Activists would have the public believe that anyone who expresses a wish to be the other gender should be allowed and encouraged to do so. To date, however, there is no evidence that there is such a thing as a “true” trans, just as there is no marker that would identify a “false” trans. To accept the thinking and wishes of those with ASD at face value, without understanding why they feel the way they do, is not a kindness, and may in fact be extremely damaging.

    I've been binding with Ace bandages for about 6 months, but I stopped immediately when I found out that they were bad for you. I only wore them on boy or agender days (I'm genderfluid) for 8 hours. So in general about 3 months. Is that long enough to damage my chest?

    • @septumpunch7797
      @septumpunch7797 8 років тому

      perhaps some damage was done, but if there is any, it's small scale. you didn't wear it for years + you only wore it for around 8 hours (recommended time for a regular binder). it's good that you stopped using ace! you should be fine as long as you remember to take care of your chest.

    • @Jukeboxinc
      @Jukeboxinc 4 роки тому

      It depends on how tight you had it, and some damage was most likely done.

      Yup! Technically I identify as Pansexual (meaning I essentially like everybody regardless of sex/identity/expression etc) But I prefer male identified people (usually) so to simplify it I usually just identify/tell people I'm Gay unless they ask. ~Michael

    What should I do about my friends? Everytime they're reminded that I identify as male, they always confront me with the "do you have apenis?" argument. It's gotten to the point that when they ask I just tell them I'm not dealing with their bullshit but I want to have a legit answer other than that so they stop asking me and fucking with my mind.

    You shouldn't be telling guys to not take anti depressants or mood stabilizers. It can be quite dangerous. A lot of people with moderate to severe depression or other mood disorders, actually need these medications to live their day to day lives. I have been on anti depressants for 5 years, and have been told by a psychiatrist that when I start T, it will not mess up my hormone levels. Please seek more opinions and information, as one opinion is not enough.
