Sorry but this sounds crazy to sell your house to live on the RV full time. With millions of people fighting to get into a home along with rising housing prices and interest rates, it will be even more difficult to get back into a house once you get tired of this lifestyle. Most people quit this RV lifestyle after a few years for many reasons. Just remember that every year your RV is depreciating in value while real estate continues to go up in value. For example, say your house is worth 700K and you sell it now. Years down the road when you get sick of this lifestyle and want to go back into a house again, an equivalent house that you want to live in may cost you $1.2M and with an even higher interest rate! On top of that, you now have to pay an even higher property tax just to live in the same kind of house that you lived in before. So unless you got $10M in the bank, this lifestyle is not practical.

Very good job! Yes its definitely an adaptation, and kind of harder. I had a microwave break on me two times this year due to some really bad quality microwave popcorn I tried to cook. Now I have to warm up my unsweetened almond milk from the fridge in a pot on the stove before adding it to coffee. I usually would microwave frozen vegetables lately, and since it broke I hadn't even attempted to make my frozen broccoli on the stove until tonight. It actually was very good still. To me, it feels like I just make a couple more dishes I have to clean up but at the same time in a way it is a nice and healthy and interesting change. It's my first time to your channel and I don't know where the last five years have brought you since this but I certainly am still proud of you both for taking the extra mile to do all of this and also having that experience of living on solar. Just saw this video today. And I've been microwave free for about 8 years now. I not only don't miss it (never did even after 40 years) but also actually love not having it around taking up space.

I was running from my husband once and I sold everything from 1-5$. I sold everything and I had 10 thousand dollars I sold everything so cheap that people bought everything. I am selling everything now 1-5$ leaving the country everybody is tripping here too many guns

I am old enough to remember when the microwave first came out! My mom had no clue about the thing. I learned about it in a school home economics class and went and purchased one. It was 350.00 which back in the 70's was a HUGE purchase. When I moved back into my mom's house so I could go to college, I brought my microwave and had to teach her how to use it. I have never been without a microwave ever since. I'm now 62 and my microwave just died and I am wondering if I can live without purchasing another one. It is blowing my mind at the thought!

My kids allowed me to realize I was a craft hoarder and have pretty awesome things( beautiful fabrics, lots and lots of crochet yarn, jewlery findings and vintage beads, lots and lots of clothes w/tags (career clothing) but I am going to sell all of it for my one dream that I am focused on now that was a side hustle bit I'm in the stages of developing. This will be the money I utilize to purchase my supplies from.

This is pretty cool. I put a bunch of my automotive stuff up for sale and I've been able to find buyers for most of it so far within hours. I have to clear up garage space anyways. I'm also considering selling my desk which is sad, but being a pack rat feels constricting. Recently what's been going through my mind is Jesus telling someone to sell all of his stuff and give the money to people who need it for their basic needs, I want to sell all my stuff to be able to move and make enough money to be able to economically help everyone and either way I can help on a much better personal level

I just had my second microwave blow up on me, the second one was second hand and the first one had been a gift. I can’t afford a new one and I’m looking for other alternatives and so far it’s how to heat frozen vegetables that has gotten me. I cooked spaghetti squash in a rice cooker with chicken broth, but I don’t want to boil everything.
