If you read the Dead Sea scrolls which are the oldest version of the Torah on earth the part of the sacrifice is actually missing. However the part where G-d explains to Abraham that his covenant will be thru Isaac is not missing. So even if it is missing. The oldest document of the Bible on earth states the covenant is through Isaac. Thus the son to be sacrificed is irrelevant
