I just don't know if staying in OR esp with having a young and doing calls is what I want right now. I've been hearing alot of mixed reviews about being an OB tech

I was referred to you by a very enthusiastic rep from Quartz insurance phone when i was looking for a welcoming Dr. for my PCP. Thank you for placing this video introducing yourself and talking a bit about honesty, and why it's important for success for both of us. I too am working hard and carefully to have the honour of care from any physician who presents herself this way, Thank you p.s. I am frustrated by losing my PCP due to shifting doctors at much bigger provider, I think, in the area, where a harsh tradition of hierarchy & bureaucratic control feels unfriendly & scary I realized too, that we are catching up on a tremendous amount of screening that was pushed aside by 2 years of COVID19. And last, how now everyone is struggling when budgets are tight, the economy is in transition, the federal deficit is a political issue as are interest rates yada - yada - what commentator described an environment with competition for a smaller piece of the pie...

If those who commented not understanding that a person who realizes that they face the end of life, and is aware of their final decision to donate organs, they can do so if they wish. This video was not made to confuse anyone, it was made to show the courage one human being has the capacity to do and who has made her peace with this world and will now move out of this world and into the arms of the Lord. It is unusual, perhaps that is what is confusing those who commented on not understanding. While this may be a rare circumstance, the human spirit is greatest when it rises above the bonds of fear and in love walks freely from this world and becomes a memory of a loved and great human being, who made a difficult decision herself and not left it to others. . I think this is one of the most beautiful loving video's of honor walks I've ever had the privilege to watch and comment on. I am sure that she is being moved to a transplant hosptial facility because her death is more immediate and the strength and love she shows AMAZES me. God Speed Sandra, you are my hero.

Simple answer she was a living donor. 🙄Most people haven't seen a honor walk with the donor hugging people as their being wheeled out. That site alone is questionable and can be disturbing to some people to see.. I thank her for her courage and gift of life she's was willing to give .May she fly high.

@@madonnaclark4074 Most people may not have seen a Honor Walk, as well as a living donor who has no possible way of surviving her illness. Your assuming that they are going to take her to the destination where they wheel her into an OR and begin harvesting her organs. That is not the case. I am a hospice nurse and there are people who make the decision with completely clear minds to leave the hospital that she is currently a patient and be moved to a hospital either closer to where the most critical patient may be, or a central hospital where there are multiple patients that will receive her organs. The patient made this choice, knowing full well and with total understanding that she will not survive her current health crisis and it maybe only a matter of days that she is predicted to experience death, or she may have made the decision to cease all medical intervention and knows full well what that means. The hospitals have more then one authority to interview the patient to make sure they are fully cognoscente mentally and of free will making this choice. There will be a representative such as a social worker or legal representation that will also speak with the patient to assure that the patient makes this decision with full understanding of the events that she faces and that she has requested to be moved and be a organ donar. Gernerally, they will be in a hosptial close to where the organ harvest may take place. You think that channel is not trustworthy? Why? Making a statement is one thing if its your personal opinon and not based on proof of foul play. I suppose to many someone who has made the choice that this patient has, of her free will and in no way pressured to donate her organs must seem bazaar, where I see it differently. Just as I see people who live or move to a state that allows a person who is terminally ill to make a choice to request to have the right to chose death in their timing and in the quiet familiar place as their home, and if proven the patient is of sound mind...is allowed to have the medication that after taking it will succumb. A person who is fully aware that they have no other prognosis but terminal can thankfully chose to die at their own time and place of choosing and usually at home surrounded by loved ones, and their sweet pets...often having a professional alerted (physician usually) who has previously notified the authorities there will be a death with assistance and the address, because they also will take note of the event, and the mortuary will be alerted so they can pick up thre remains. I had the sweetest most loveing patientsin the world, and sat many times while they picked out their own casket from brochures and what songs they'd like to have sung...right down to the choice of what grave site they would chose. It was a hard day for me having grown so close to each one of my terminal patients choosing to stay at home, to take them to a cemetary to chose a plot they liked....or go over what food they'd like served after the ceremony or what songs would be sung at a mass for them, right down to having to notify the mortuary to come and pick up who was now a dear friend who chose topass away at home. Now with the ability to donate organs, depending on the illness, and other variable...what the woman who chose to say goodbye to her family and the hospital staff and leave with a loving smile, is her wish. I'm not about to criticize or be suspicious of someone doing awonderful thing like donating organs so that others may benefit. You can judge this video anyway you please, I understand completely.her loving act.

@@madonnaclark4074 Simple answer NO, but most people don't look for the negative that would take away from what this patient requested....so I left you a more detailed answer, since you have a difficult time understanding the human spirit and that one person may chose a path that you may not chose. Snarky doesn't cut it with me. Try not to be suspicious! of her or the hospital's intentions, and most people understood why I didn't go deeper into qualifying all the procedural. Things she chose to bi pass and somehow you got the impression she was being wisked off to be put down to harvest her organs. Now you don't even trust that staff...and maybe you would not chose that for yourself but she did. So it made you suspect because she hugged people and said good bye as they wheeled her out.....a little research and some common sense may have helped you understand. It is also not unusual for a patient who is saying a final goodbye to the staff who have cared for them either at hohe with hospice in attendance or at a facility with the staff they grow close to...and develop a bond. But then again there is always ONE person who jwould rather criticize then take a moment and tthink about how close a patient can get with the staff that every day takes part in keeping them comfortable, and makes it a point to show how much they care. All you saw was things you couldn't relate to. Sad. Don't bother another comment, I already know anything I say you're going to find something to comment about.. That is why you would not make it in this field of patient care. Most hospice nurses or support teams are hand chosen and trained for their understanding of the human spirit and how to relate to the many emotions a person dying goes through.

I do understand why people got confused, the patient chose to be moved closer to the hospital that she will donate her organs, In many states a person can chose to hasten their death if they are in a lot of pain and with no hope of regaining their health. That is a consideration, she is an advanced hospice patient and as she leaves, with great dignity she is thanking the hospice team who has been taking care of her. I guess they should have made the point much clearer, but I'm unsure who posted the video and clearly its confused people. It does seem to have caused a lot of confusion but I'm unsure if the hospital social worker wrote the comment referring to the video if there is one I can't really remember, or a family member, it doesn't seem to clarify much. I'm on duty and my break time is up. I hope this clarified what I think wasn't said but should have
