    The photo with the black plastic is showing the practice of occultation. Solarization is the practice of using clear plastic.

    Watching the video, I missed the hand gestures that indicate how high up you remove the bottom leaves. ??

      Deb- We did notice that he didn't cover that in the video. He has a Heirloom Tomato video posted on his UA-cam channel for his farm where it appears it is about 18" off the ground - but you may want to take a look!
