My man. Awesome.
The concerto sounds like the most awesome video game music ever haha
Great work! I'm glad you're synthing Prokofiev, he's a legend! Also, here's a thought: try synthing Mozart's K. 617, Adagio and Rondo for glass harmonica, flute, oboe, viola, and cello! You'd do well with it.
This is absolutely amazing
Baller!
I love this!
I'm glad you do!
Would you do prokofiev?
I would! If there's any specific piece you'd want me to do, I'll see if I can.
@@the_historian411 Piano concerto 1 or 2 would be sweet.
@@snailmusk9468 I will do those then
@@the_historian411 That would be sweet
Epic.
Made my day with this, thank ya. How come the piano parts are cut tho?
Just heard your re-upload, nvm :P
It's amazing, I need a geometry dash level with this music ASAP
I don't play Geometry Dash, but that would be cool.
Stunning. Commenting for reach!
Many thanks!
Let him cook!
If Beethoven were alive today, he would compose many symphonies in synthpop and cyber.
I'm sure he'd love to experiment, although hopefully he could hear how they sounded.
There are many Beethovens alive today, they’ll never become Beethoven though in this capitalist system
Absolutely amazing,,,,❤
Just know, you are appreciated for what you do. Thanks!
Many thanks for the kind words!
55:02 underrated part🙌
I never thought I'd see this day. Amazing.
Amazing, you outdid yourself
Many thanks!
To my brother, remembering the good times.
masterpiece
Pretty interesting and very cool
Amazing!!
So odd I played this symphony last week on 1st Oboe and was pretty hard yet I had fun. Now algorithm recommends me this.. awesome
Lol, I do feel like they are watching us sometimes.
3:08 is fire
i do like the shades tho
the overtones are distracting
Yeah, with the piano especially. It was hard to find the right balance, because when I prioritized fidelity and sharpness, everything else was lost, and when I prioritized voice and fullness, the melody was lost. I could never balance them well; I only got too overbearing, or too acute of a sound. I ultimately went with too overbearing because it fit more of the piece, and only missed a few spots, rather than the other way around. Thanks for the feedback, it's always appreciated!
i love what you do!@@the_historian411
1:03:17 is the BEST part
A nice experiment.
🎶🎵”Movies, movies, movies, movies, movies, movies, mo-vies!”🎵🎶 (Starz commercial jingle set to this piece)
44:11 is my favorite part. 🙂
A bit of ol' Ultraviolence 🍊
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that is subscribed, it means a lot that other people appreciate the synths. For that I synthed Beethoven's Egmont Overture, which is one of my favorite pieces. I wanted to save it for something special like symphony 5 or 9, but reaching triple digits is special in of itself. Thanks again, I hope you enjoy it, and keep listening to classical.
Banger, it is so lovely. Good Job
🦾💚☄️
Me and my homies went crazy for this version… the revisited version where the piano is also synth is sick, honestly speaking only piano midi took a bit our enjoyment because of its similarity- we are all pianists so when its electro piano sound it gets hard for us. I hope you keep revisiting and creating these sick versions!
I'm really glad you all enjoyed it! they're certainly really fun to make, so I won't be stopping anytime soon.
pure genius!!!!
I have never heard the original. I just clicked on this because of the odd photo. really interesting stuff. great sounding recording. thanks for creating and sharing.
Thanks for listening. I'm glad you find it interesting, it's certainly an experiment I want to keep developing. If you have the time, and like classical music, I'd definitely recommend listening to some Shostakovich.
this is awesome
Here for the thumbnail. Legendary display of photoshop skill.
Sometimes I feel my talent is wasted on only doing video thumbnails.
Banger! ( Despite my distaste for the classical era, I only love the romantics, impressionists and modernist who stayed a little conservative like my dear shosty or Prokofiev) The synth piano does wonders. There are some parts where the destinction is not very clear, but the finale is truly magnificent
Indeed it is a banger. I couldn't resist fake-conducting while listening to it for the first time. Even still, I agree the piano also needs some work, but over time it should be improved over multiple synths.
This one is a great one, I noticed that pieces with clear Melodies work very well in this format. Same with contrapuntal passages. Polyrhythms fall a little short when synthesizing, but that’s just my objective Opinion.
Yeah, synthesizing doesn't work well for everything. It's great for composers like Beethoven and Mozart with very clean and specific melodies, but even for pieces by composers like Chopin, would sound horrible.
I dont like those experiments where the piano simulates a real one, it just doesn’t sound good. It would be maybe better to give the Piano a very different Synth Sound. The symphony’s are always veeeery good, no hate
Thanks for the feedback, I always appreciate it. I have also had similar thoughts, the digital piano isn't the best, but I also haven't really been able to create a synth that works well for the piano in the past. I thought it could be cool to actually learn the piano for a concerto and do a live recording with the synth orchestra, although it would take a really long time to actually accomplish that. I did a while ago, I think only a month before this synth, I made Shosty Piano concerto No. 2 with a completely synthed orchestra and piano: ua-cam.com/video/j0NL8FtcocU/v-deo.html I had it unlisted with the other synth with a digital piano because I didn't want to give one or the other instead of both. Let me know what you think, and I'll be sure to make my next Piano concerto synth with a synthesized piano : )
Dude, I loved the shosty concerto synth, it amplified the joyful and funny character of my favorite Piano concerto. In my opinion waaaay better that the fake piano sounds. I listen to your synths while running and it’s always a joyous experience. I would like to see a real piano playing over a synth orchestra, but the challenge of combining them would ceartainly be a great one. Thanks for your marvelous works:)
@@fuvbk6230 It means a lot that you really enjoy the synths I do. I'll resynth the piano concertos I've already done with a synth piano, and work towards a live performed one.
@@the_historian411 bro I am honored
thx
fucking love it
I'm glad you do! I enjoy making these, so they shouldn't end any time soon.
@@the_historian411 nice, im looking forward to new ones :)
This is quite well done, but the metal guitar often does not follow higher pitches. Seems like a lot of work went into this and it is certainly interesting.
Yeah, the violin I believe goes to a high pitch than the guitar, and I noticed the guitar even can't play some of the higher notes in the editor. It's why I've stopped using it and just got another synthesizer to play in its place. I'm glad you find it interesting, I'll have to re-synthesize all of these pieces, as well as more Bach in general. : )
@@the_historian411 Well i'm glad you are attempting to remedy the situation. you chose interesting voices, for the Brandenburg and it sounded quite nice when ALL the notes were playing correctly!
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
🔥🔥
This pales next to the original.
Agreed, everything probably will.
This is literally my favorite piano concerto. Love your synth take on it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. They're always fun to make.
@@the_historian411 I'd love to see you do a violin concerto. Maybe the Tchaikovsky violin concerto and pick a solid violin synth for the soloist section. Keep up the cool shit, bro! 👍
@@alhfgsp oo, I didn't think of that, many thanks for the suggestion, maybe the rock guitar will comeback, we'll see how it works out though. I have a couple other synths in the works right now so I'll be sure to do a violin concerto after those.
Thank you.
One of my favorites, thank you!
I love what you do!
I'm very glad you think that, because I also love what I do!
