But for sure Freddie had to be impressed with the incompatible Lee Morgan, because at this time Lee was kicking ass a hard bop trumpeter on blue note records and at this time about 25 years old most old school jazz giant were taking him seriously. Because of his brilliants of understanding of arrangement and composition of putting the right notes in place. Fine album Lee Edward Morgan I am very proud that he was born in my hometown Philadelphia Pennsylvania . And so was McCoy Tyner, Bobby Timmon, Shirly Scott, Charles Earling, John Coltrane, Jymie Merrit, the Health Brother, and so many other talents from Soul music Classic R & B .

There's some vounarably in his voice as you you always hear in for instant in Billy Hollidays also. Something that always herds a little. That the connection between the horn and his own voice that yüu only hears by great musicians.
