That sound was the reverb spring. I've had mine since new - '87. The matching 4x10 is tight, very 80s metal. Works great in a mix but at high volume, tubes are bigger sounding. At low volume, tubes can't touch it.

Just bought this IDENTICAL guitar at a pawnshop in billings montana yesterday for 200 bucks!! Yours is the only identical one i can find on the internet

You're lucky it even has a box, lol when I bought my schecter demon 7 from guitar center I pulled it off the wall and carried it straight out of the store like guitar center was a pawn shop or something lmfao. Dont buy from guitar center brother, always buy straight from the company, this ensures quality control and a proper setup and new strings. No guitar center guitar will have good strings much less a proper setup

I really like my Badlands Redline GX1, and congratulations on your Holoflash!

The holoflash accent on the headstock is a nice little touch. I was pleased that they used endcap inserts to hold the case inside the center of the outer box. The guitar feels really solid. I'll get to fiddle with mine for the first time this weekend.

Got mine today. Really loving how it plays. Was kind of expecting to just like it for the awesome finish but it plays and feels incredible. The neck shape and size is perfection. I think I'll end up liking it more than my RG550. Havent had time to crank it and mess with the sound yet. So far it has crushed my expectations

Mine should arrive mid June. I can't wait and this doesn't help. Haha. Love it. Enjoy!!

I really only have two things in my life guitars and women since I am blind I don’t have to worry about cars lol I made the mistake of buying a silver jubilee not because it’s a bad amp, but it’s certainly not this by, a longshot going to take the trade-in hit and buy this app on the 30th. It’s unfortunate. They never put Friedman stuff on sale man. I’m a local gig and guitarist and teaching lessons so the real reality is is that the money I throw around now to get an amplifier compared to what it used to cost 30 years ago is certainly quite different but I truly think this may be the very last stamp I ever need it combines the two amplifiers I grew up, listening to and have loved the most my whole life truly no doubt best wishes to you man great demo and unboxing thanks again. You totally gave me encouragement to make that purchase. Appreciate you.

U said that you'd be removing the truss rod cover.. The skull with guitar crossed emblem looks kinda cool. I mean, unless it's a religion thing, that I can understand but, I do think it looks cool the way it shipped. If you use automotive based polish then wax, usually the 1st step is rubbing compound 1st, polish 2nd, wax last... the rubbing compound takes our scratches, Polish gives the wet look/shine, Wax locks it in & protects.

No Way! I’m in RI… and almost positive that is my old MOSFET! I traded it in at the GC in Warwick. That rattle is normal, it’s the reverb tank. That amp is awesome, I even had it serviced. I hope you still have it!

It’s a damn shame such an amazing instrument in that price range doesn’t include a hardshell case or even a gig bag for that matter.

Not being negative. Dont waste your money. Dyed wood(fake roasting) tonewood doesnt resonate. I upgraded pickups, real floyd, still no tone. Small frets. Just buy a better guitar. Peace.

Looks like it would slide back and forth in the case. They should sell you a case that fits the guitar close enough that it wouldnt move around inside it.

I bet it sounds good too I seen harly benton got a guitar for 150 bucks that has a Floyd rose I thought bout and if it doesn't sound good I can always change the pickups ya know but God bless and I'm happy for you enjoy

The Jewbilee's from the factory should have known to put more wrap on they were prolly running low in roll and stoped after a turn .....phil fix this

I have the same guitar, I tried the brass block and it turned to mud, I put a 42mm steel fat kat block and BOOM ! The only thing was to do a small route where the block hits , no biggie

Hey man, I'm having some trouble with my TOD10. Just curious if you can test the pickups on yours and see if it's just my guitar or something more. With the tone knob pulled up and on the neck position, mine is single coil, but its supposed to be humbucking. Can you take a screwdriver or knife and just tap on both sides of the neck pickup and see if you get sound from your amp/plugin. And same thing with the bridge. Hope you can help me out! Thank you for your time.

just saying... I've ran into issues like that with them brass blocks because they are so big! and different blocks for different versions of them floyds. they line up different to each other sometimes.

It doesn't look like your gonna have a lot of room back there for a brass block? you might have to do some sanding in that case if you really want it. and see if it's compatible to that particular floyd. the 3 holes might not line up the same underneath.
