I see that you put a lot of info and attention to the charging docks, but as someone who doesn't want to waste or spend too much money, I feel like it's not that necessary to have...? Love the review, by the way, but I feel like kiwi would be a better idea if I want to be sure the headset will not move at all when I move my head and I still want it to be comfortable. I think the price might be a big factor in this too because the kiwi's battery headstrap (not the SCP one) is less than half the price of the BOBOVR one and with the grips, it's almost half the price of the BOBOVR one. The kiwi one is also compatible with more facial interfaces, I haven't found a facial interface that fits well with the BOBOVR S3 pro that doesn't cost too much.... I'm really interested in the S3 pro, but the price is a lot... I'm writing this as someone who doesn't have a quest 3 yet, so i don't know if kiwi might be better to start with and then maybe later upgrade to S3 pro? because I don't know yet what type of headstrap I like the most. And I don't think I will need more than 3h since I will be new to the VR experience (Might be overwhelming at first?) and because of my free time avaliable, but maybe it will be the opposite and because it's new to me, I'll want to use it more...? I can tell you why the Factory reset worked for him that time. He most likely had all of his devices in his room turned off. The oculus 3 headsets are extremely sensitive to electromagnetic frequencies, radio waves IR light, Broadband frequencies as in your router, so before you do a factory reset. Make sure you're away from all other devices or better yet cover your headset in aluminum foil then do a factory reset. Thank me later. I'm not joking when I say these headsets are sensitive to outside influences. Maybe ghost hunters should start using them.

Meta didn't "overcomplicate" things when it came to the controller batteries. They have a inductive charger with a high capacity. This allows them to be used with third party strap covers and wraps. Meta's issue though is they sell everything at a stupidly high markup, probably to make up for the fact that they are selling the HMD's at cost. The one and only thing that this charger did right was actually use the damn fast charge pogo pins on the front of the headset, something that every other third party seems to completely ignore.

Why do people waste time their audience time by padding their info videos with these dumb intro clips with annoying music? Do most people actually enjoy watching these and i'm the minority that think it's a waste of time?

Upgrade the bolts with M5x20mm thumb screws and you can REALLY adjust it fully with the headset on. Pro tip

I have a question so does it the rechargeable batteries work with and controller hand strap like the meta ones and so on?

I don't fully understand the hype on all these wireless charging docks that utilize the three pins to charge. the most important aspect is charging the quest 3 during use, as the battery dies within the blink of an eye. How I charge it overnight is only of little interest. Charging during use will inevitably involve the usb c charging port. So focussing on elegant ways to charge via the usb port is much more important.

very much like biased advertising. with this strap, it is not possible to have the option with the facemask removed. this is a huge minus.

Strange. I bought the KIWI head strap and docking station independently. But my head strap does NOT have this dual magnetic connector, which means that I cannot charge both the quest 3 and the head strap at the same time. This is the major aspect being advertised in the video. Do other people have the same issue?

People are sleeping on CgripVR. Its only 40 bucks and to me it works amazingly well. VERY easy to get into if you are curious about gunstocks

The official charging dock is %30 off. It doesn't say how long it's on sale. Would you recommend the official dock? Even at %30 it's still pretty steep.

Got both, I can’t stand the bobovr S3 design too much contact makes me sweat, (it feels like a full helmet in the summer…the fan is a joke)…kiwi without the strap is what works best for me. Selling my S3 pro just not for me! Also if you make it hear you will pay $500 for it. Cheap labor is what allows to buy these products under $100

I butchered an old AMVR silicon grip cover(I have another one) to work with the Sanlaki gunstock. It's not pretty but it's functional. I can now replace the batteries without taking out the controller magnetic attachments.

i got one for my old wmr headset but that broke down and i decided to get a quest 3 to replace it but i didint want to go through the hassle of ordering replacement controller cups from their website so i just got a cheap amazon magnistock and used some electric tape to fit the haptic module on it and it worked like a charm all fits nicely together lol

it doesnt work with the kiwi strap with battery tho, it charges the headseat but not the kiwi battery, its a shame but other than that I love it!

Let's not forget the kkcobvr there head strap and swappable battery system. It's really the only one so far that's even trying to go up against bobovr and the kkcobvr head strap is not only cheaper and also really comfortable. The battery is just as large at 10,000 plus a second battery is 40 bucks not on a sale so cheaper then bobovr all around.

I definitely agree that with BoboVR you are paying for a more powerful battery and the convenience of the magnets. But after looking at this and it being more budget friendly, I definitely want to get my hands on it and test out myself, with them being 6000 mHp giving the quest 3 an extra 3 hours with an addition 2 you could optionally (With a bit more effort then BoboVR's) stay in VR indefinitely. Definitely gonna have to check them out as a more budget friendly brand.

Batteries usually come only partly charged to reduce fire risk.

Oh. The kiwi dock doesnt work wirh the bobovr s3? My bobovr is on preorder and a month away but i got the kiwi dock already and just because if was pretty. I thought i could just charge via some wires but this elbow connector makes this kind of extra useless I aleady got some mannequin heads i could just ust as stands
