It is not futile to struggle against "what is", provided that "what is" is not the defining feature of what we are struggling against. In other words, it is not futile if there exists a state of "what is" that we would not struggle against. There are sometimes circumstances that we must set right.

Isn't that very dualistic to say there would be worthy and unworthy life ? Awakening as a condition ? Even the example can be used in the opposite way, because you have to lose everything, you will own nothing in a way..
