8 Year Old on Raptor 90 Hill Climb

This is our first test of the Raptor 90 at Tahuya ORV park. This is a hill climb with the Raptor 90 and my sons first attempt at a hill. The phone footage shows a true representation of the hill. More videos of this Raptor 90 and our Raptor 80 to come.
Any clue if this works for the new 2024 raptor 110 efi? I cant find any info on them anywhere because they are so new

I’m not sure where you could purchase a new one. If it were me I’d get a piece of metal or wire to connect between the two screws and see if that works.
The Raptor 80 is the better Quad....just because of the cardan drive. The Raptor 90 has just the cheap chain drive.
That is true the drive is more reliable on the 80 and seems to be a little better built.

Curious what tune file you have in your pc5. I run the same setup im running the tune file from dynojet website in my pc5 for full yoshi exhausr with gytr intake. I feel it could be runed slightly better though.
I’m running the same one and I have zero issues. What state are you in? Elevation may factor in.

I’m not sure, but if you own a 2012 you could try it and see!

Drain fuel out.Clean your tank out. Get a can of carb cleaner and pull carb off and clean every component in carb. Sounds more complicated than it really is. But simple
@@quepid101 how do you recommend to clean the tank ? Just drain and add more to clean out ?
No problems here so far. Knock on wood! To keep the carb clean, turn the fuel valve off and run it until it dies.

Don’t bother with them. In our experience, they made it worse in the sand! We sold ours because of it. Haha

Was the top speed now without the limiter?
We’ve never tested the top speed but I’d say it’s around 30 mph without the limiter on and 15 mph with it on
Any chance you know the size of the exhaust nuts? Seems both of mine fell off

Is it safe
We leave the limiter on when our children are riding and remove it when us adults want to take it for a spin! I wouldn’t take it off for children, but that’s just personal preference. It definitely depends on how much experience the rider has!

I would think so but I’m not sure!

We’ve never tested it but we think it’s goes between 15 mph with it on and 30mph with it off!
Which is has more low end torque and which is faster? We ride in sand dunes sometimes and he's moving from his 50 to an 80 or 90 and not sure yet which one to get. Thanks

After installing this exhaust did you notice that it hits top speed limiter faster?
It did feel to get to the limiter faster, but the noise makes it seem a lot faster.
Ok, so after a little research there are 2 SE's in 2020 and Partzilla doesn't describe which color is which. Do you know if yours is YFM70RSSLM or YFM70RSSLR?
Do you by chance know where I could look to see which one I have?
@@familyadventuresforever8543 I haven't got a clue what the difference even is. But I messaged Partzilla support and they gave me the correct part #'s. Maybe they can help. I then went to Rocky Mountain ATV to buy them because Partzilla charges freight rate $$$$ on them, while RM has free shipping over $75. Went with 2020 SE dark red, and 2019 SE dark red front fender. Unexpectedly turns out they're the same maroon color. Now a custom kit from Spider Graphics should make it very interesting.
The plastics on my 07 are just plain beat. hmmm...I really like that.

I suggest drilling a hole in the back, install the cooling hose running through a grommet in the rear, mines hot racing, then dril a hole on the side for the dual rudder and dual outlet, I have a brand new orange one, and been upgrading it aswell as a vector sr80 pro for about 9 months now but definitely reccomend the hot racing motor cooling sleeve, mine is mostly Hot racing, but you should get the rc boat bitz rear tabs there way better than hot racing im getting a black pair of them here in a few days, but the cooling upgrades are a must for hot days and keeping it cooler in general... but make shure you pull the shaft out and grease it and tighten everything before you run it, or your shiaft and propeller could potentially fall out if you don't tighten and grease before hand..
Grab some adjustable trim tabs too when you can
Rc boat bitz are the best
All electronics are fully waterproof in those too so doesn't matter if they flipp and take on water
Make sure U do your maintenance Greece prop shafts and oil motor bearings etc
I run Hrb packs off eBay they are great would recommend HRB 11.1 volt 6000mah TRX lipo batteries
I own the orange and blue one still think they look the best don't like the new designs
I have the orange one two modified, never ran her yet shes a work of art 🎨
I still like the old orange and blue better

I had to drill out the pilot and main jet a little.

Yes you can!
When did they switch from the raptor 80 to the raptor 90? And are all they any changes since they switched to the raptor 90?
I think they switched in 2009. At some point they widened the 90 so it has a wider stance than the 80. They video explains the other differences between the two. :)

Had a seized rod bearing so I bumped the piston up to a CP 11:1, Hot Cams stage 1 and and a slip on HMF with controller during rebuild. YEAH! that's bordering on more than plenty.
