    At 6:49 you say there's no text color fringing, but you show on screen some of the worst color fringing on text we've seen in an OLED monitor to date. Other reviews mention how bad it as well. I hope OLED panel manufacturers can get this color fringing problem under control soon. I want to buy one so bad, but I know that problem would drive me absolutely nuts.

      Not to mention these displays just do not get that bright. IPS displays on the other hand do put out enough brightness. I tried this LG monitor as well as the AW3225QF and returned both the same day they arrived. Oh and the stupid “Pixel Sound” built in speakers are hot garbage. Anyone spending $1.4k on a monitor definitely has dedicated stereo speakers that will blow it away. It’s all just marketing. Vote with your wallet. Stop rewarding companies for selling overpriced, subpar products.

      I don’t know if you actually have this monitor or not, but the sound quality is really good for any normal use, the brightness is also so high that i turn it down, if there was any issues i would mention them, I bought this with my own money and falsely advertising it doesn’t benefit me.

    I have both the AW3225QF and this LG. The main reason why I'm considering keeping this one over the AW is first its way easier to clean-not have to "deal" with micro scratches from gentle wiping- and 2, the deep OLED blacks-the whole reason to go OLED. Don't get me wrong the AW is no slouch. It's just that i'm sacrificing the deeper blacks and a screen that is so sensitive to any gentle wipe for what a slight increase in sharpness. Right now I'm typing this on the LG while I have this same video opened up on the AW right next to it and from a normal typing distance I cannot tell a difference in sharpness besides color-the AW does have a tad punchier colors to it. But I also kinda like the more lifelike color pallete on this panel. I'd say if you like the monitor get it and don't listen to the guys complaining about the grain. Ask them how those raised blacks doing lol

  • @OldGinOx
    @OldGinOx 22 дні тому

    I’m sorry, but this is not accurate. First, you’re comparing completely different layouts, which is like comparing the capacity of a sedan to a bus. Wooting’s software is far superior to any configuration software I’ve used. Their keyboards are highly customizable, and the ease of applying changes with immediate feedback is truly impressive. The feature you missed in Forza and other game is called “analog input,” and Wooting does have it. When comparing HE boards, focus on how accurate the board’s sensors are, how well the response time performs, how good the software is, and how low the true input latency is. These are the main points for HE keyboards, while the rest is modifiable. Wooting mentioned that adding wireless wouldn’t make sense due to the power required for minimal input latency. Their new keyboard will have true 8k scanning and polling rate, a first for keyboards, for what it’s worth. I don’t want to sound like a salesperson, but their brand and products just make sense.

    • @raianmr2843
      @raianmr2843 22 дні тому

      Hard agree. After owning a keychron for few years, I feel like their price to value ratio is still stuck in pre covid era. Almost no keychron board even has low latency 2.4G wireless support which is a huge bummer for gaming in my case.

    • @TechTicals
      @TechTicals 22 дні тому

      There are no options for 75% hall effect keyboards, so the comparison is fair because people are forced to choose, once the Wooting 80HE comes out then yes, this will be compared to that. A wireless connection is way more useful to me than milliseconds of delay, the delay of the Keychron Q1 HE is so low that anything lower won’t make any noticeable difference.

    • @OldGinOx
      @OldGinOx 22 дні тому

      @@TechTicalsand with that you could’ve just bought a nice mechanical keyboard, that would sound and feel a lot better than any HE board. The whole concept of HE is in millimeters and milliseconds.

    • @TechTicals
      @TechTicals 22 дні тому

      @@OldGinOx yes latency matters but 4 ms on the Keychron is already so good with a wireless receiver that trading it for a 2 ms wired on the wooting is not beneficial. Things like layout, build quality, typing experience and connection type matter more than 2 ms speed difference, which is why the Keychron would be better for most people, unless you want something lighter. 🙂

      @@TechTicals I've owned both the Wooting 60HE and the Q1HE. In terms of build quality, the Q1 is light years ahead of the 60HE. The 60HE felt like my Ducky one3 mini in that it felt very cheap and plasticky. However, for gaming the 60% layout is better, especially for FPS games like CS2. I ended up selling the 60HE as I felt its price didn't match its performance. I now use the Q1HE as my daily driver. It just feels so nice to type on. Quite a few of sound peats use ldac, but this use aptx. Sound is good, but I would say the engine 4 is audiophile sound with ldac. Also NC is average at best with the air 4 pro.

      Yeah the NC on the airpods was better

    The boom mic is a gem. I plugged it into a 3.5mm to usb dongle and hooked it to my macbook pro. It sounds better than the MBP’s 3 mic array. Audeze must/should/could? do something about it and eliminate the 10khz cut they put on the mic when it is plugged to the headset. At least do it when we use it wired via usb c.

      Interesting, never heard of anyone using the mic like that.

      @@TechTicals The plan is using it as intended. Just saying that the mic itself has insane quality. It is a pity that audeze caps it even when plugged via usbc

    Regarding the battery life, what if you leave the laptop plugged in all the time?

    • @TechTicals
      @TechTicals Місяць тому

      Yeah you can leave it plugged all the time, make sure you have the settings for max80% battery to make sure the battery doesn’t go bad

      @@TechTicals Okay I’ll make sure to have the settings for max 80% battery ( even though I have no idea what it means)
