Nothing like exploring new areas, especially a creek. That on looks worth going back to. Those green sunfish were nice. Didn’t look like there were many rocks in there. Looked really sandy.

I bet you a ned rig would be amazing there. Nice little light finesse set up I see you have there. This has been one of the most enjoyable fishing videos for me in a while because it’s something I can relate with. I used to be all about the flashy gear and biggest bass/catfish/walleye and whatever else you could catch. I prefer quiet quaint fisheries and throwing dry fly for quality trout and the occasional Topwater Smallmouth Chonk. Ever since I picked up a fly rod a few years back I’ve never put it down even though I used to make fun of those “fly fisherman” most of my life. I was dead wrong…. It’ll make you crazy and it’ll make you a better angler altogether. Quiet, Quaint, and Quality…. It’s not all about catching the biggest and baddest fish all the time. Funny thing is the largest trout I’ve ever caught was a wild introduced tailwater rainbow trout, about 20” or so on a dry fly no bigger than a pin prick. It was a long fishless dreary day in November. However, your video makes me want to get out the ol spinning rod! Great video!
