So true what Doc says
It never dawned on me that the French word for breakfast is related to “jejune” and “jejunum”: “Jejunum is derived from the Latin word jējūnus, meaning "fasting." It was so called because this part of the small intestine was frequently found to be void of food following death”
Almost every time I tell someone I’m a type 1 diabetic and usually eat one meal a day, I’m told with utter certainty I have rarely heard from devout religious believers that I need to eat SIX SMALL MEALS A DAY. I never get a coherent explanation why I need to keep eating (and taking many little doses of insulin to make up for the many little meals): they just know that I WILL RUIN MY HEALTH BECAUSE I DO NOT EAT SIX SMALL MEALS A DAY. It’s particularly scary when I hear it from a type 2 diabetic who might well be ruining his own health by eating that way.

Most probably because you didn't eat well enough in your meal! I've been fasting for over 2 years and I sometimes go for months doing one meal a day and even one meal every other day and I've never been in better health and shape than I'm now.

As a breast cancer patient I have seen many benefits from fasting! My question is I like to add pure coconut water to my black coffee. What are your thoughts? I feel good after and It helps get me through moments of hunger.
