You have inspired me. If I find a cheap deal on a working big bird voice box I will take it and use parts for it. Also, if I can, if the O-ring works perfectly, I'll multiply it from a hardware store.

I'm so sorry I have one that's almost the same problem except its stuck out. I'm really sorry but I tried to take it apart off camera and I couldn't fix it so I'm sure I can't fix another one. However, maybe in a future video, I will try to fix one. Thank you.

@@Jack_Walten32 Thank you for asking! There are many, (Like book sized!) but here's a few: #1 When you pop out the record, make sure you hold the main spring so it doesn't fly everywhere and unwind. #2 If the spring completely separates (which is very common!), I suggest that you get a friend, and have him hold the end of the spring with it stretched out. Then, hook the spring back into the record. (This can be tough! And it's common to put the spring on backwards! I've done it many times!) Then, have your friend let go of the spring, but you need to hold it tight. After that, move the record like a cranking motion while you wind on the spring! Then, the spring will hook itself onto the record. #3 ALWAYS hold the top piece (that the string wraps around) on the record whenever you flip it upside down, and don't pull on it! If you try to hold it by the top piece, it can come off, which pretty much destroys the voice box and makes it unfixable. #4 ALWAYS unwind the string on the record before taking it out! You can if you get a knife, you could pry the disc off and put one that's the same size on

And by the way, I don't know if this is 100% possible but you might be able to achieve a custom disc if you find one that size or you make your own@@nicolobertonelli

Thanks for replying. First of all, I won't be able to do another big bird video for because I had to fix another Pull String Doll with Big Bird's O-ring, and the spring split and those springs are incredibly hard to find. So, there will not be another part to the video because the O-ring is gone and those O-rings are super hard to find. If you know where I can find some let me know! Basically, I think the reason why your Big Bird is talking fast is because the 80s pull-string dolls have stretched out O-rings, which speeds up the sound. The only way to fix this is by taking apart your Big Bird and finding another O-ring, but like I said, I cannot find those O-rings anywhere. Luckily, for the 1960s pull-string dolls, they still make O-rings so I'm able to keep fixing those dolls.
