Army Men RTS was my introduction to the RTS genre so I am glad there are more diluted RTS games to get the younger crowd interested in them

I found that torpedos were OP once i learnt to use them correctly. But then the flip into being absolutely 0 use if the enemy gets the wrong wonder.

I can't believe someone actually remembers this game and bothered to make a video on it, lol. I just remembered this game and how hyped I was to play it as an 11 or 12 year old Terraria fan back in 2015. When I finally played it, I was completely lost and had no idea what to do, until I eventually just gave up and uninstalled the game. The fact that all you can find online about it nowadays is a couple gameplay trailers and review articles just shows you how hard it flopped and how obscure it is.

Pirated it at launch and enjoyed it but it did have some bugs like classic controls not working properly and also if you were using classic online it would take a whole super and skill away. I bought it a couple of weeks ago just for the online and have had some good games and others are completely one sided because someone doesn't know how to play/refuses to adapt or play differently so they rage quit. Also had a nice connection error issue that didn't let me play online whatsoever until I installed the performance enhancer mod without the fps unlock and turning off v sync too

Loved the review man, I gotta agree with the point that online matches can be quite cinematic, it's my favorite part.

Great Ape Vegeta is such a good skill check though. You can get away with a bit of mashing and spamming early on, but he reminds you that defense is part of the game too. It was kinda fun running it back now that ive gotten the trophy on all 8 Story Characters just to see how i do, and the difference is night and day 🎉

I had the exact same experience lmao, played this when i was younger and thought the story was a little bland. Just played it again today and boy was i wrong…

No other game offers 360Km+ map with zero loading screens (None, Not one). and this was 20 years ago. It is Criminal to put the word Dumpster anywhere near this games Title.

This was my first Harvest Moon game. It was very basic compared to the others. But I loved the soundtrack, especially the Summer song.

As someone who recently found and enjoyed your Farm to Fame series, seeing a new installment was a pleasant surprise! Save the Homeland is one the HMs I bought long ago, barely played, but it ended up on the backburner ever since simply from distraction. It was interesting getting to see a little more of the game now, more of it than I had ever experienced, although it seems like perhaps I didn't miss a whole lot by leaving it on the backlog all this time.

Stumbled on your ranking series while feeling nostalgic for some of the first Harvest Moon games I played forever ago. Love your videos, it's a great trip down memory lane.

Ow the dig at lawbreakers. It was such a good shooter but it just never caught on and the gravity mechanic wasn't that easy to get into but it let you do some crazy maneuvers.

About upgrading tools: Since you played as a girl, tools cannot be upgraded. If you were playing as a boy, then your tools would automatically upgrade the more you used them. This is to keep the game balanced because if the girl could do the animals and be efficient with the crops, playing as the girl would be so much better. The girl gets all of the tools, none of them are upgraded. The boy gets only crop tools and cannot take care of animals, but his tools can be upgraded.

It’s a sim, not a shoot’em up type game. The gameplay is great, that is what it is known for and the map is enormous.

I wonder if theyll consider doing a remake of this game now that theyve been remaking a bunch of the classics

This video aged well. Its a joke of a game already. No GT or OG DB so far, maybe down the line as DLC later but meh, I was expecting a massive roster from the jump.

i remember playing this on a family member's account. and absolutly hating it. i'm glad i was not the only one to find it painful. i dont remember much because i barely got 10 minutes in. i dont think the family member put any time into that fire. Its like eating mud
