I could be wrong, but it sure looks like your front tire is mounted backward. The only way I've ever seen that chevron pattern mounted is with the points going the other way. That may also explain the tire noise you're hearing.

I don't believe in Titans, & yet the hexagonal columns, and 'abrupt transition', remind one of an Achilles Tendon snap! A remnant of the great flood perhaps? If it is a petrified tree stump, (as many surmise), just who sawed it off so flat? So we are left with a volcanic 'plug , which is by far the most boring explanation of this magnificent, & very magical natural structure.

Devil's Tower, is a petriphied tree stump. There were monsters once upon a time. They'er still around, just not as big. Now they hold key government positions. And deep state dinners for them requires humans on the menu.

Lived 60 miles from Devil's Tower 1st half of my life. Its actually an ancient volcano core. The cone eroded I over time leaving the solidified lava.

Spent most of the day here a few years ago. Loved it.
