I don't get much time to go to the ice rink, so I just put on some socks (to make it slippery like ice) and just pretend I am iceskating. Iceskating (or "sockskating") is really fun!

Look up outside/inside eights and consecutive edges. You need to start practicing these for at least an hour everyday. Good Luck

Lol am the same age and am i just started basic 2 last weekend. My coach for private lessons started me on the half swizzle pumps too. That hugging the circle is exhausting 😂

I just started last year at 43 and us Ice Fossils (adult skaters) need to stick together. Great progress! Practice makes progress -- you'll be doing 3 turns and backward crossovers long before the year is out. Your ice is so empty and your progress so fast -- are you taking private lessons?
