Chasing Cultures
United States
Приєднався 27 тра 2017
Hey, I'm Meg - a 26 year old American. I love to travel the world to experience different cultures, learn about varying perspectives and of course sharing my experiences. I am an entrepreneur who runs marathons, while growing an online English Academy (TruVee LLC).
I think it is so important to provide a non-bias perspective on any and all topics - and even important to talk about ones that are more taboo - like politics and different aspects of cultures.

The Largest Waterfall In Colombia - American Girls Hiking In The Jungle
My cousin Liv and I hiked through the jungle of Colombia to get to a waterfall called La Chorrera! This is the highest waterfall in the country, at almost 600 meters tall! Around 8 miles of hiking total brought us here, to the monkey caves and to El Chiflón Waterfall, which is a bit smaller but has an amazing trail around the outside of it.
We stayed at Monte Luna Glamping, which was an amazing little dome hut on the mountainside. Our hosts were amazing, and you will see much more of them in the next video! Our driver, Wilson, is also available if you are needing a tour guide around the city - he speaks English and has a great room to stay in, which is taken care of by an amazing woman named Andrea!
Overnight at the waterfall, we stayed in Choachí with our gracious hosts, overlooking the waterfall in the mountainside. If you do stay near here, we also recommend you try the delicious mojitos at the cuban restaurant, and eat lunch there. There is only one place to eat near the waterfall, and it is incredible.

In today’s video, I sit down with Nicole, who worked on my Akashic Records Reading with a business flare. I have never looked into this before, and as you know from my channel, I really will try anything and love to look into areas I wouldn’t typically “believe”. Learning about past lives, soul plans and anything in between is something that has always been far fetched. But, I went in with an o...

Visiting Southern Brazil's Ancient Burial Grounds (Sambaqui in Santa Catarina, Brasil)
Переглядів 1427 місяців тому
Sambaquis are pretty much the most beautiful burial grounds I can think of. These are made of shells, old items and most importantly bodies. We explored one of the largest in Brazil, in the southern state Santa Catarina. We also made brigadeiro, and explored an American Brazilian bar (it was insane!!). Up next - we have the CLIFF JUMPING!! It is WILD! So be sure to watch along for the final Bra...

Santa Catarina - you are beautiful!! We explore lighthouses, drive and ride on the beach, check out the Brazilian Buccee's (Engenho), and it was insane! Tried all the Pamonha I could get my hands on too. I also tried Sugar Cane Juice straight from the cane! My American perspective is completely different coming out of Brazil than going in. Other People's Opinions & How To Stop People Pleasing (With my IRL Examples)

I have recently been struggling because everyone around me is giving their opinions. Eventually, I realized I want someone to talk to - not to tell me what to do. I want to figure out my situation on my own, and not just have others tell me what is good or bad. In this video, I explain why you are really the only one who knows what you want and need - no one else. I love how caring everyone is,...
I Did NOT Expect This From Germany... (Saxon Switzerland National Park)
Переглядів 96410 місяців тому
This may have been one of the most stunning places I have seen in Germany yet. Yes, I have gone to many other amazing locations on this trip, including the Devil’s Bridge and around Berlin, but I did not think Germany had something to offer like this… The Bastei is one of the coolest places in Germany. This is a rock formation, made from water erosion over a million years ago. The Neurathen Cas...
I Went To A Donald Trump Rally: A Social Experiment

Going to both a Biden & Trump rally is something not many people are ever going to do. But, I am interested. Is Trump really that orange? Is Biden really that senile? I wanted to find this out for myself - so first stop, the Trump Rally. At The SNHU Arena in Manchester New Hampshire on January 20th, Donald Trump held his rally right before The New Hampshire Primary, held on January 23rd of 2024...
Europe's Largest SANDSTONE BRIDGE (PRAVČICKÁ BRÁNA) in the Czech Republic
Переглядів 55111 місяців тому
PRAVČICKÁ BRÁNA, OR “PRAVČICE GATE,” is Europe’s largest natural bridge, a massive sandstone arch with a 19th century royal chateau built into the side. I hiked the 2.5 miles uphill to get here, and then made my way back down to Hrensko, the town I was staying in, in Czechia. I then did some shopping, and walked along the canals. This was AMAZING, and I would suggest coming to this small villag...

❤ amazing, great video
Thanks for these amazing views of a pretty nice country! You went over bridges, which I would have crossed NEVER! Your way to as much places as possible is inspirational, I think, it keeps the mind open. (By the way: Drinking some Ukranian or Italian wine in Germany and some fish sandwiches at the edge of the river Elbe... Could be an option also, roight? ;-) )
I would LOVE to do that with you drinking the Ukrainian wine, my friend! Glad you enjoyed this vlog 👏🙏
👋!!! 🌼💛🌞!!! Great moments with two delicious sugar 😻MEG & LIV😻 in Chochia , Bogota, Colombia...🌱🌲🌳🌿🍀🍃🍈🍏⛲🗻💦💧🌄🐶🌊🐕🐒🐮🐅🍱.... [🎅...💘...🌻]
Glad you enjoyed!!
You go to a foreign country, follow some route that leads you to someone's rural front yard, conclude that those 'people don't speak English very well', but you 'took their answer as a yes and set up camp regardless'? And then you complain about dogs barking, animals around your tent and people actually driving over their own drive-way, next to where you decided to camp?
I'm shocked at the amount of dislikes, and yes I can see them.
Probably because she didn’t really try to understand what was going on and used democrat talking points like calling republicans a “cult”
❤ nice video
So glad you enjoyed it!! 🇨🇴
Super...un vrai vidéo vraiment cool...merci 😊
So glad you enjoyed! 😁
Awesome ❤
So glad you enjoyed!! 🇨🇴
the slurp fruit is passion fruit
Very cool!! My favorite!!
No, it is not passion fruit. It is “Granadilla”, a different fruit.
Amazing would you please more travels?
We try to as much as possible! If you know any sponsors, let me know 😜
So much nice colors, nice views, a lot of people and (obviously) much food. Sometimes the sound quality wasn't as good as ever and I would like have the chance to see some of the places a bit longer. The most important thing You guys had a cheerful mood. Nice. And please more.
So glad you enjoyed Frank!! Yes I noticed the sound too - I think it is because it was raining. I need to order those microphones you have!!

Thank gosh Trump won
If that were allowed, I would be a little jealous.Flying to Mexico for a weekend is too far. On the other hand: you told the truth about trash and danger, I appreciate it.If Mexico remains unreachable - there is this clip. Will there be again a film about Germany, maybe next year? 😁😁
Thanks Frank! Hope Germany in the spring too!

Happy, good mood video, thanks for sharing. congrats on the great Marathon time, too!
So glad you enjoyed! Thank you for watching! 🙏
Thanks for promoting Trump!
TRUMP 2024
The camera makes Trump look orange, but he's not that orange in real life! Kamala Harris, Border Czar has proven her incompetence, & her obvious low-I.Q. (D.E.I. pick)! Chosen by Joe Biden, because Kamala Harris is a "woman of color", Kamala is of (Indian- Irish) descent! Kamala did have a lot of black in her when she was walking on Big Willie's arm!
Those Rallies are the Equivalent of a WWE wrestling Events. They’re Basically Fans looking for Entertainment. And, Trump is Entertainment!
Donald Trump 2024!!
Rot!
One of the best vids ive seen. Like that small comments while Nicole was driving 🎉❤ ty!
Awww glad you enjoyed!!
What does Kamala do in her speeches?? Bash Trump the ENTIRE time. You see the hypocrisy?
Completely agree! I never talked about Kamala because this is a review of a Trump rally. Not her rally. I am not voting for her. I chose to do an honest review of Trump. I’ll do a Kamala one (if I can find a rally near MA)!! 😊
Where’s the Biden rally???
Never found one! He must’ve been sleeping 🤣🤣🤣
@@chasingculturesDid you actually speak to anyone while at the rally?
Where do you get 25,000 ft elevation information? The highest point in North America is only 20,320 ft. Utah's highest point is 13, 500 Before posting a video please fact check yourself... Less than one minute in I will be very sceptical of anything else stated here... Let's watch more Edit: nauseating...please slow your camera and your edits. This is unwatchable
I don’t think I said 25,000 feet - we stayed at Bryan Head which was over 10,000 feet. Apologies if I misspoke, you’re totally right I need to fact check more! As for the camera tips - thank you for pointing it out! I will be sure to slow down the movement. Really appreciate your input! 😊 🙏
Nice Sunday surprise. What a paradise
Glad you enjoyed Frank!! Mexico soon 🇲🇽
What you consider hate is truth. Educate yourself a little more.
We demand respect of God family and country.
Open borders = breached national security.
Bashing those that put Americans last.
Joe is a threat because he censored American voices on Facebook and Instagram.
Trump is America! Trump 24!!! Save the republic.
Hate is what she got from the rally ....wow,,,,
Even the day after Trump's assassination attempts the media was right back calling him a threat! The gaslighting ignorance from our 95% run democrat media is SICK!!
Trump's salary is the only one that went DOWN While Serving as President!!! Because Trump actually Served US, while democrats serve themselves and their own pockets. They actually think we are stupid enough to just believe what they say. Thankfully, more and more Americans see through all their gaslighting lies!!!
What you consider as "hate" is just normal political debate and pointing the fingers at obvious mistakes the political opponent have made in the past.
the kkk suite is one of yours
Attempting to defame us! 👍👍
I did not know being outraged at people who are screwing things up is hate remember biden and harris and democrats are telling us what he will do and they are doing that to trump things right out of the nazi and soviet play book to quote amber rose do the home work
No, you both are wrong abt the Trump rally. You just want to promote hate instead. Why do you both want to go there at Trump's rally in the first place? Purposely to talk negative views on Trump supporters I guess😊
Which hotel did you stay in?
What none of these people point out is they can safely attend a Trump really and freely say the are not a supporter of Trump but of Biden or Harris and no one screams, spits at them, calls them names, or anything else negative. Yet if you go to a democratic rally and say you’re conservative they call you every name in the book and a racist. They threaten you with violence and the list goes on. Yet the democrats claim they are tolerant.
For those considering on tent camping, you're not supposed to camp within 0.25 miles from the hut.
You did not really absorb the essence of Trump rally because you're not concerned with what is really happening every single day in your own country..
I think you're definitely wrong about the cult and people there for Trump and not our country. It's just people who love our country and are seeing it going downhill quickly
Liars and radicals are not welcome to Trump's rallies, cos they will report the negative news abt Trump! May Almighty God blessed America 🇺🇸 ❤
Yes, for your information this man was born for this job! TRUMP 2024! (It's funny how the like icon was removed) smh
if you see Trump supporters as a cult instead of what they and the MAGA movement represent, then you are still under the influence of the media propoganda disease... you need to talk directly to Trump supporters and you will see it goes FAR beyond anything resembling a cult.. i believe it to be many of us believing he is the only one focused enough, rich enough, and experienced in business enough to barter with the world for peace and to corral the business world to put our interests first for a change... he may bash people ( for a reason ) but the Democrat campaign runs on NO policy and direct attacks on Trump continuously... my observations and opinions...if you find this bizarre, then you have missed out on the love of friendship with strangers...
Exactly, we are not a cult we are a FAMILY!
