Prayers for chronic illness and pain. I also use art to get my head in a good place. I deal with chronic illness and pain. It is a complete release to make an artful mess!
Kaci welcome back!!! We missed you ❤ I am sorry to hear about your difficult 2024. My 2024 started sad too. I am in love with your ideas and your art work 🎉
@@LosCocolotes thank you! ❤️ I’m sorry to hear that your year has been less than wonderful, too. Much love to you! I’m hoping to be able to start making videos again this fall, thanks for always being so supportive!
You always inspire me. How do you come up with so many different ideas?
@@GrowingOldwithKaryn I just do one step at a time and they turn out how they turn out. I never go in with an idea of what it will look like in the end, I let each one surprise me.
So cool!
I really like how different each page is. Nicely done.
Wow Kaci! What a creator you are. What a beautiful reflection of your soul.
Awesome ❤❤❤❤
Thanks Kaci I always wanted to learn how to crochet 😊 I love all your tutorials

Hi, Kaci its me Rachel, What do you do with it once it is full?
Hi Rachel! I put my finished journals on a shelf and look at them from time to time when I need inspiration. I entered one in an art show and won second place. Someday there will be a whole shelf of art journals for my children to figure out what to do with, lol.
You are a great teacher!
Aw, thank you! ❤️
I like all of these! Shout out to Lotus-I hear you ;)
Kaci I love all of them beautiful! You should record some of work in that collage journal
Thank you so much! I may record some collage once I get the hang of it. I’m still struggling quite a bit with creating a focal point. It’s a learning process.
Kaci it is so good to see you again ❤ Wow 🤩 these are so beautiful and wonderful. I love them all. And your journal is very beautiful too!!!! Amazing and beautiful work of art. I am glad you are still showing us your art and inspire us. I hope you are feeling better. Hugs
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your encouragement. ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely gorgeous art journal! I loved every page. You have inspired me to finally begin my own art journal. And thank you for mentioning the cards. I think that will help me get started. Thank you Kaci.
That’s wonderful! I hope you find great joy in the process. ❤️
It looks to me as if one of the sitting birds asks the other "Do you think we should fly away, too?" 🥰
Love it! Thanks for the smile today. 😊
Another beautiful page. Thanks for inspiring me to be more creative
Prayers and hugs. We will wait for you❤
Thank you, I appreciate it! ❤️

Hello Kaci, where did you get the color theme cards. I like your art
Thank you! The cards are Color Cube by Sarah Renae Clark. You can find them here: sarahrenaeclark.com/colorcube/
awesome
Thank you! 😊
wonderful !!!!! i love it great work beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Very impressive. It looks like you had fun.
Thank you! Making this journal was a good time, for sure. There’s a lot of freedom and joy that comes when you give yourself permission to play. 🙂
Very cool! Do you do your own calligraphy? I want to learn! Have had to remind myself to focus on one thing at a time!
Thank you! Yes, I learned calligraphy in high school. I don’t remember the exact strokes for each letter anymore, but I do play around with drawing my own letters a lot. I started doing it when I was working at the library and creating window art. Sometime we should add an art date to our lunch dates.
Well done - I love this journal - you did an awesome job❤️❤️
Thank you so much! 😊
Love love love!
Thank you, dear Gwennie! 🥰
Lovely 🧡

Thank you! 😊
You have made a beautiful art journal .❤
Thank you! 😊
this s so lovely!!!! i love the face and the colors with the flowers!!!! beautiful
Thank you! 😊
You sound a lot like me Kaci! I applied for two arts grants over the years and failed to acquire places on BFAs or MFAs simply because I didn't have a certain style or theme in my artwork 🤔 tbh art colleges here in Ireland are geared towards commercial art/enterprises and are kind of restrictive so I am kind of glad I didn't go to art college. So I am more likely (and so are you) freer than most art students in that we can experiment with different media and are able to enjoy the process
You hit the nail on the head. I’m thankful I didn’t go to art school, I would have spent all my time pleasing my professors rather than doing my own art. That’s the curse of the creative - if you want to make money, often you have to make what sells rather than make what’s in your soul. Society values conformity too much, at the expense of true innovation and expression.
@@KaciCreates exactly! We are sacrificing a lot if we conform to what society expects. I have attended portfolio courses and life drawing classes but they were a lot freer in structure with little or no pressure to conform and I loved that aspect of both.
