      you're definitely right most people that are overweight or anorexic or have health issues that get in the way of their work or private life go to get healthy! but I wouldn't say that those that go to the gym to get a more aesthetic/attractive body (which is probs around 50%+ if you look around inside a gym) do that for themselves, but for others. That isn't a bad thing necessarily though, but being vain, self obsessed and narcissistic is bad (for the person behaving that way) which is what I try to convey. Can you see that being the case?

    Special Comment for 2024: If you are reading this then you must know that to get women you must have awesome chemistry. If you don't have awesome chemistry, then your love life with women especially with the women that you want won't happen at all. People reading this will complain about this and that, but that is the bottom truth. I have seen men who are super chubby and tall and who are Caucasian land attractive White women. It's all about chemistry. You can take 3 years of PUA with a coach in Canada but if you don't have any chemistry with hot women then your love life will be stagnant. Wednesday November 13, 2024, USA

    People like to act like Religion can't cause any real harm, that's just incorrect. Many people, mostly children are struggling with and living the fear of going to eternal damnation every day, and that is actively ruining their lives. With atheism, it is difficult to accept that there is nothing after it, but there isn't nearly as much to worry about and it is way easier to understand and comprehend, but the reason it is hard to accept it is because when we imagine it we imagine it like we are conscious in some way, and it's hard to imagine it like we are not conscious, the easiest way to understand it is that it is what is gonna happen before you were born. I think if religion didn't exist that would benefit the world overall.

    • @Lazarus0048
      @Lazarus0048 6 днів тому

      religion causes harm, for sure, for we do not follow the teachings properly and are consumed by our own greed, lust, pride etc but for sure, under the pretence of religious sophistic arguments, real harm is done. and lots of it. I'll be honest, my experience and knowledge leads me to believe otherwise from you as per 'mostly children' are "living the fear of going to eternal damnation every day, and that is actively ruining their lives". in the first place, people of faith are told they'd go to things like hell if they follow lifestyles which generally disserves them (hedonism, deceit, murder, self harming) so it's hard to see how deeming these things as bad and damning them is ruining their lives. But I agree that with atheism there's less to worry about. And I'm sure that would help a lot of people that are in religions live a better life, no doubt. Understand the complexity of humans and the different needs to attain the valour to march forth I can't say that there is a 'solve it all blueprint' so I still think atheism as well as religion serve there purpose. Some people are in an unsuitable side for them? sure, but some people need the things they currently believe in too

    I don't really know what religion is about. I can only say what I saw in some churches I visited. They didn't know the easiest elements of the dogma. They were complete ignorant. And that bothered me. I tend to be on the promiscuous side. Did a lot of things that Christianity would consider not good. And sure, I suppose there are reasons for this to be in this way. But the people from churches... The actual people going there every Sunday... They couldn't even tell me why. Or worse, they would invent some strange reason that they would consider the right one. Something that would most likely have nothing to do with Christianity. And I have this strange feeling that the priests are no better. I used to consider myself a Christian. Now I don't anymore. Simply because the people that seem the most interested in religion have no idea what they are talking about. And in my country, religion is mandatory in school for 12 years. Every week we have to do an hour of religion. Some maybe even more, no idea. And the despite this, the people going to church don't even know the basics. I'm not talking about the myths. Although I doubt they even know that. I don't think many could tell in what city Saint George was born, or any detail about his life that is in accordance with the official dogma. They only know the products of their own imagination. And these people have the audacity of judging others while claiming they are some sort of religious authority, no matter how small? I can't really understand how people can call themselves Christians without studying the holy books. The Bible, what saints wrote, maybe some history, stuff like that. Every saint that ever wrote on the topic of religion encouraged people to study. None of them told people that it's ok to just sleep on your feet during religious service.

      I totally understand and agree, I've been to temples, mosques, churches and the majority of attendees do not adhere to half the things the faith is about. Let alone as you say, understand it. The ignorance of a believer is another topic entire from this video, but I am thankful that you shared this with us. I feel a desire after your comment and some others to make a video about the counterparty, for we (me as also a man holding many religious beliefs and practices) are often hypocritical. And no one should judge you, for there is a better judge than us humans. Giving advice and pointers? sure, go ahead and give them. Only if you practice what you preach. But as you imply, most don't. And that's the blunt truth. No human holds authority over another. Thanks for sharing and as to your life, I have no direct influence but I hope that despite being promiscuous or as otherwise determined 'sinner' by religious doctrine you bear no ill or malicious intention towards others, neither consciously perform acts that wind up hurting you, or others. Blessed day to you but more importantly, much love <3

    You literally talked about Pascal's wager for 9 whole minute. We think about it in this way you see, " well so many religions, at the end of the day I'll die,better than believing in the wrong one, who knows if the god exists, I'll do things for the betternent of people I'm born amongst." It's literally the same thing as," at least it's giving me a purpose." Btw, not all atheists hook up casually, not everyone gets drunk and blacks out, many religions or theists also do these kinda things. It doesn't matter if you're a theist or not, some people just like harming themselves, it is what it is man.

      Just had to search the theory as I didn't know it hahaha but in a nutshell yes. At the end of the day, we ought to be good people that do more good than bad, avoiding to do bad intentionally and not pay attention to the unimportant details such as "you worship ___ and I ____". Also yes someone commented something similar, I do apologies, I didn't make it clear enough that I am talking about a specific group of atheists not all and as you say, these people, slightly differently, also are amongst 'religious people'.

      @Lazarus0048 the problem is, you're a white person and I'm a brown person. My ancestors have been conquered by monarchs of various religions. So it's not as simple for me, which religion do I belong to? We've been converted to Hinduism, islam and most recently, british east india company, they turned a lot of my people to Christianity. So, it's very confusing. In this conundrum of getting conquered by various monarchies, my people have lost their culture. We don't even know which culture we, the bengali people belong to, now majority of my people are Muslim and they wanna be some kind of discount Arabs. It's really messy over here. We're literally going through an identity crisis.

    • @Lazarus0048

      @@aarmansiyam5 sorry to be blunt about it but to blame others for an identity crisis is a lack of accountability. it's like saying "I don't know who I am because of all these changes that are outside of me!", you don't need to identify with a title (or religion or philosophy), you are your own person. I'm an italian/hispanic mix, when I was young I moved from spain to france then to england where I became independent. since I was 14 I started living with strangers. shady business but I wasn't in a privileged position to choose from. I've shared my day to day with russians, indians, americans, japanese, chinese, swedish, and to keep it short, right about every race, religion, sexuality on the face of the earth. I think the world would be a better place if we gave up the idea of free will. All our choices are a result of all that we have experienced throughout life, there is no reason to hate r be angry at anyone, punishment should be used to rehabilitate only. This is one of the big reasons I find religion dangerous, it prevents us from accepting facts like this, it's almost impossible to explain this concept to a religious person when it seems so clear to materialists. I would really like to know what you think about this, watch Alex O'conors video aboout free will, it convinced me petty fast.

    • @Lazarus0048
      @Lazarus0048 8 днів тому

      In some sort it ties to stoicism, I just checked out Alex and it's not like I disagree entirely on his thesis. For the most part it is a good solution. But for a small few. Most of us humans are emotional beings and this blunt approach would drive many of us to nihilism. I've seen it, and when I was less mature, I lived it. Nevertheless Don't get me wrong; There is no blueprint nor one method answer for making the world a better place. I cover part of this mentality on the video, considering the complexity of human nature, various life styles, philosophies, practices are necessary, for we are all a little bit different. But regardless, to make this world a better place, though it's kinda vague, more love and respect amongst each other would be a good start. Regardless of one's beliefs, for we all share a common objective; love. ps. I agree it can be almost impossible to explain that, or any concept to a religious person (the annoying type)😂 some religious people can be very obnoxious and ignorant.

    I think the rheotirc is that Religion is bad because Extremism can happen especially in this day and age of Identity Politics, and how most religious outputs believe they're losing control. I don't want religion in government. I don't want some religious guy touching my money. In parts of the world where religion is government, is where I think that is considered extremism. I don't want a religious person who is supposed to be my representative, be the reason why im being chastised by society every single day. I also don't want to enter discussions with others on the idiocy of "you're going to hell if you don't stop doing what I am telling you will send you to hell." and that goes for any religion that has a hell and a law. (I.e Chrisitianity, Islam, Judaism, and others). I like to think that in religious discussions, misinformation, or misinterpertation, or uneducated talk, can literally be the downfall of your relgion, i.e Nation of Islam. I am an Orthodox Christian, and i'm Afghani and Russian. I am in the middle of this discourse, and sometimes, the victim and perpetrator. I want people to understand that yes, I would be deemed an outcast in Afghanistan for my belief, and my blunt forwardness to my relatives on certain truths that I just don't agree with. Good thing I live in Canada. No I don't think Sharia Law being implemented in a Governmental Level is a good thing, let the middle east figure that out. Do Muslims post 9/11 get dragged through the mud for being muslims, yes, seen it with my own eyes, my family dealt with racism. Does everyone want Power, thats where the truth lies in. Are people Prideful, of course they are. Do Prideful Powerful Individuals in our day to day living represent a fraction of the needs we actually need? No. and if you do believe so, you're just lying to yourself. Do I want to support others, of course, will they support me, the leveraging of power determines that Religion in a Governmental Level is Extremeism and will lead us down to a path of death and destruction, because if One person had all the power to determine that you are not human, or you are sub human, or you should pay taxes, or you shouldn't have private property, or you should not leave the religion, or you should disregard historical sources that determine certain truths, and the arguments of those truths, if those arguments lead to personal strife, then we have become Prideful. Unless your religion is on the basis of pride, then humble yourself, sit in your lane, and wait for God to deliver you out of this mess when the time is right. Otherwise, let people figure it out themselves. I have relatives in oppressed regions of the world, and they're leaving for that reason. My Final point. Religion, should not be in the head/power of the Government, for it only leads to death and destruction.

      Firstly, I like your self reasoning and questioning to reach a conclusion, I speak like that too. Secondly, it is between you and I a shared feeling that Religion shouldn't be head of state. I do not trust humans, for we are vicious creatures that do not handle absolute power well. Leave that to nature or the omnipotent. Another thing, I grew up in Christianity and I was always taught to never use religion for money and had the examples of Jesus going into the temples and seeing how they turned into markets and how furious it made him. I understood that because greed would come, your intention of being a man of God would stray. the whole 9/11 is another tangent of a conversation and I do not know what you tried to say with that statement about racism. Seeing how you are against Sharia law being imposed from religion (which I respect, it makes NO SENSE to force faith, faith and religion is between you and the creator. A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. nothing is achieved in imposing, it is the contrary to what religion should be) I am assuming that you are also against imposing things like a sexual education from trans activists and drag queens on gender identity to children in school? Or things like forcing you to use specific pronouns towards someone, and making it an offence to do otherwise? And many other things of course. My final point, religion, atheism, any spiritual journey or doctrine shouldn't be imposed neither purposefully nor influenced by a 3rd party, but discovered and chosen alone. And we should treat each other with love and respect, for our differences are small but similarities are broad, and we should have a choice, and more freedom from abiding to a SPECIFIC set of rules that aren't more so general for ALL not for some.

      @@Lazarus0048 The simple immature racism of me and my relatives blowing up at at the most smallest of inconvenience is what i'm trying to talk about in my side tangent. Bullying I feel is a normal experience, and in some communities, being different is all it takes to be treated differently. Otherwise, I agree with 99% of everything you're saying. I think the best way to conduct with others, is having the mutual respect of being human, that my Father in heaven tells me to represent. That everyone is made in God's Image. This makes me humble. I think the minor faults of others, the racism, and hate, in all honesty sometimes can be humorous, because ridiculous things make us laugh naturally, but also disheartening and terrifying that it is a reality we all too commonly share. I am afraid to say that currently in my perspective, there won't be a remedy to segregation, and separation, due to such contrasting religions existing, that the concept of unity was discouraged since the inception of it.

    This is an actually good video ngl. As an atheist myself I completly agree, there is some division, but not enough that we have to divide ourselves into factions. And tbh a few of the complaints u have of atheists are ones religious people do as well. Which goes to show religion makes minimal difference. People are people. Everyone is beautiful and unique in their own way and we should cherish that.

    dude i get what you are trying to say and probaby more than you do. . what you did with your head is that you identified whats now missing from moving from religion to atheism but instead of trying to solve it you just decided to turn back (expectin a different outcome ?) thats lazy. OR and im drawing this from experience, this is just the "introductory speech" and deep down you havent dealt with the puritanism with which society brough us up and deep down you are still a "christian". (yes im challenging you on purpose here just stick with me) because humans have the built in capacity for ethics and for meaning. all religion ever served is to make these tendencies atrophy and make us depend on this second hand and surface level type of ethics/sense of meaning. the state of todays society shows us just that. that we are religon addicts. the other option and most possible option is that you are on a traditional masculinty self develpment journey. the influencers that helped you find your assertiveness started announcing themselves as jesus freaks you now need to imply you are one of them too otherwise "you are not alpha..." yes i know i shouldnt go there. i should just have walked around that point. but in 2024 we need to start being straight with one another. this type of content has hurt us a lot more than helped us. getting value from jordan peterson is not the same with getting the values OF jordan peterson. traditional masculinty is not the same with "tradtional values that guarantee you will feel more like a man if you follow them". "real men" were always a rare breed. now we know how to tell them appart better because less and less "not real men" feel the pressure to pretend they are. the games difficulty has increased and theres no safety net for noobs. theres no woman/man inequality to make them feel important or in power, theres no real beenefit to being born with a penis theres no puritanism to keep your girl in fear and not cheat on you when you totally deserve it. you need to earn these things. and we are all looking for short cuts hoping sticking to the past will secure just that, but there s no short cuts. we need to train mind and body and go through tragedies. not to become all the shitty things we left behind. im a person that hangs around with people a lot. i treat the nostalgia of the past as a problem because i see what it has done to my fellow human beings. its not better than the degenarary of the hedonism the other half has turned towards. you guys think you are different but you all follow the metaphorical "devil". none of these groups are connected to (lets just comically call it) "wholesomeness" none of these groups are ethical or have dealt with their inner nihilism (chronic depression).

      Hey man, thanks for the lengthy comment, I watched back my own video to make sure I completely understood what made you say this, I’m now assuming you watched from the Marcus Aurelius segment onwards to make this detailed point. What you say is right for a lot of people, somewhat offensive to them but I would even say the majority. People follow things without really believing in them. In the first place a rational mind could come to the conclusion that there is no need for a God. And that at the end of the day we have the answer within. And as you say, this is my own opinion too. Thus on an individual level there is no need for these religious doctrines, but understanding human psychology and looking at society and understanding the weaknesses we have, as intended by the teachings, they are simply guides on life. Just off the record I’m happy to tell you that it isn’t the case for me that I worry about what other people think in regards of my own beliefs (about the whole beta alpha thing) In my closing statements you and I come to the same conclusion that we can simply take things of value that we like from somebody or something without adhering to the entire doctrine, you used Jordan Peterson as an example, I said religions and philosophies. But to tie it all down know there is no cognitive dissonance neither inner division in me. But that I choose to believe in a creator, as this does not disadvantage me, but gives me a further push to be better. True? False? I’ll treat you with respect despite our different believes. However, not despite your actions. Thank you for the comment bro, really. And thanks for looking out. I know a lot of people are in a limbo and need words like those you said, above all (and not properly mentioned in the video) I want people to have less inner division and live a life more devoted to their purpose, to the attention of their family and loved ones, to looking out for the community, to being at peace with themselves. Much love homie, I hope you make your day worth it 💪🏽♥️
